Casey
Back in Car...but not for long
May 23, 2003
Casey drove the new NAVY sponsored car
for FitzBradshaw this weekend at Lowes Motor Speedway. The car
didn't make the race, though, because of poor qualifying time and as a
new team they had no owner points. It uncertain whether Casey will
get another go in the #82 Chevy or if it was a one shot deal. But
don't worry, we will still get to see Casey in two weeks at Pocono in
the Winston Cup Series.

Commission

Casey
will appear at Pocono on June 8th driving one of Ray Evernham's
cars. He will drive the #91 car sponsored by Mountain Dew LiveWire
for a one-time deal. I sure all of the Casey fans will happy to
see Casey back on the track...but why with Ray Evernham? Huh, oh
well! I will be glad to see our boy back out there. (And by
look of the car>> we'll be able to see him!) Who knows,
maybe he'll blow them all away and get tons of offers for a new
ride. Anything can happen. And after all of Casey's bad
luck, he's entitled to a little bit of positive!

Casey in Waiting
April 22, 2003
Besides Casey's appearance at
Daytona in February, Casey has been missing in action. Larry Woody
is still pondering if Casey had taken the road paved with gold instead of
the road less traveled if he would have been more prosperous. But,
now the result is plain to see that it might have been the wrong
choice. The writer for Nashville's The Tenneesean still catches up
with young driver in waiting to see what his progress on locating another ride
is. Right now, Woody says that the outlook looks dim, but Casey
still has hope.
''I'm still looking, but right now there's just nothing
available. I won't give up. I'm confident that eventually I'll be
back in racing.''

Hello Casey fans. Sorry there

A New Year and an Uncertain Beginning
January 23, 2003
All ties with Evernham have been
official cut, most rides from Winston Cup filled and now Casey's career in
Busch may be questionable. It was almost certain
that Casey would be
driving for Clarence Brewer in the 2003 season, the time period
was unknown. On Monday it was announced Chase Montgomery would run a
limited schedule in the #27. The #37 will be saddled by David Green
so that eliminates a full season ride for Casey. It is still likely
that Casey might not ride at all in the 2003 season.
Hints have been made by Brewer, but
do with them as you will. “The first race for Chase (Montgomery)
will be at Daytona,” Brewer continued. “We haven’t identified the
other events that Chase will drive the #27 car yet. We almost have all of
the elements in place to ensure our entry at all of the Busch events in
2003.”
