In a way, makers of anti-ads are trying to get across a certain point. They want companies and other consumers to know that they are not easily manipulated, and that they see through the persuasion techniques. People who make these parody ads are not trying to get consumers to buy their products or services as advertisers are, and they're not trying to solicit votes like politicians; rather, they want to make fun of advertisers who think they're being subtle and show people that these products or services are not necessarily life-changing.
