Here are some Frequently Asked Questions

If I could go anywhere in the world, where would I go?

This is a relatively easy question. When I was abroad, I traveled to Ireland. My friend, Kelli, and I visited a small town called Killarney. It was the one of the most relaxing and beautiful places I have ever seen in my entire life (which isn't so long mind you.) I think I went through about 2 rolls of film in this one little town. I would be able to spend the rest of my life doing nature hikes, playing with wild elk, singing Irish folk songs (that I had to learn) with 60 year old men in the town pub, and boating on one of their six or seven lakes! Absolutely gorgeous. I suggest you go, if you haven't already.

What is your favorite Broadway show?

Well, this isn't such an easy one. My favorite all-time show would have to be Chicago. And yes, this comes way before the movie ever came out. Another favorite though is Into the Woods - definitely the old cast with Bernadette Peters, not the new Vanessa Williams cast. And lastly, I am a huge fan of Les Miserables... yes it's cliché, but still -- it's an oldie but a goodie.

What are some of my guilty pleasures?

That's easy. I am a fanatic of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I am and I'll admit it to the world!! I also tape Days of Our Lives if I'm not home to see it... but there's a good reason for my addiction! You live in the Netherlands for six months and have the only TV program in English be Days of Our Lives and you tell me that you don't get addicted!! I'm also addicted to Starbucks... usually, not a day goes by where I haven't had a non-fat iced caramel macchiato. And yes, the people who work at the closest Starbucks do know my name...

Where do I see myself in 10 years?

This is a hard question. I don't know exactly where I'll be in 10 years but there are a couple of things I'd like to have accomplished by then:

What are some of the things I want to do before I reach my "scary age"?

My "scary age" is 35 years old. It's not that reach 35 scares me, but it's like the pinnacle of one's career. So by this point, I'd like to definitely like to have some things accomplished. They are:

  1. Skydiving over the Swiss Alps
  2. Travel to Cairo to see the pyramids
  3. Play craps in Monte Carlo
  4. Learn how to snowboard (the rolling down a hill that I did in Austria DOES NOT count)
  5. Rent out a race track so I can drive up 150 mph safely
