Mark Prior started 30 games for the Chicago Cubs in 2003, he was drafted No. 2 overall by the Chicago Cubs in 2001 and has pitched two seasons in the majors.

Mark turned down a million dollar contract with the New York Yankees as well!

After Mark won the Pitcher of the Year in MLB.com's 2003 This Year in Baseball Awards, he said: "I am greatly honored to be recognized by the fans. We had a good season and are now turning our focus to bettering the team for next year."
