Vauxhall Astra Coupe

The Astras's have been the domenant force in 2001 and 2002 and have won the championship in both years, but the pack is catching up fast and there domination is becoming more of a small advantage. The three teams that ran the car in 2002 were 888 or Triple Eight with drivers James Thompson (2002 Champion) Yvan Muller, Egg Sport with Matt Neal and Paul (Brother of Mel C) O'Neil , and the independant Barwell Team with Aaron Slight and 17 year old Tom Chilton.
