Two years she lived here
Time is up
They had to go
Heart broken as she was she still left
“I’ll never forget you and I promise to see you soon”
She last said
Two weeks never went by without talking
Two months after she left, I got a call
It was her mother
The news wasn’t good
“She’s dead”
“but how” I asked
“She was shot twice in the head”
The second shot I was told killed her
Two years after her death I still remember
Why she was shot I’ll never know
I only know that she will always be with me
