"Let me out,"
"Let me out!"
I say.
"Oh, no,"
Said the Devil,
"You must stay."
"I have you in my prison now,
And I will never let you out,"
He said with gleeful joy.
"No one is here to help you,"
He sneers.
"And you cry 'Let me out'?"
"I am no child of yours,
Father of Lies,"
I say,
"My Father reigns in Heaven,
Lord God on High!"
Satan screams as,
He hears my Father's name.
"No, He is not!"
The Devil yells.
"You are,
MINE!"
"I am not,"
I said,
"You have no power over me,
I am a child of God.
He lives in me and I,
Am a part of his body."
"You have SINNED
Against that father human."
He exclaimed,
"You are no longer His.
You belong to,
ME!"
"My sins have been forgiven,
Washed away by my Savior's blood."
I said.
"They are no longer mine.
I am free of their chains,
And of you."
A bright light came up,
Behind me as I said these words.
I felt at peace and knew,
I was safe.
Satan could not touch me,
For my Lord was here.
"You have trespassed, Satan,"
Said my Father.
"This is my child,
Not yours to take.
Her sin is washed away,
As if it never was."
"She is correct when,
It was said you have no power here,"
He said gently.
"But I have power over you,
Be gone Evil One!
You are not welcome here!"
My captor fled,
And I was free.
Then my Fater said,
"Your faith has saved you child,
Never let it go,
For I can not help you if you leave My House."
"I will remember,"
I told Him,
"Would I be able to forget?
You have saved me from injury,
And my soul is free.
My Savior is not easy to forget.
I will never be alone again."
