South Park Cheerleading is a non-profit youth association. Our goal is to provide a comprehensive program that is based on teaching and shaping skills built on a foundation of fundamentals that will encourage sportsmanship, character growth, and principals of hard work!

South Park offers cheerleading at all levels:

FOOTBALL(ages 7 to 14)-The football season runs from August to November. Cheerleaders will cheer for South Park Youth Association's football teams. They practice on Mondays and Wednesdays and cheer at games on Saturdays. Games and practices are at Carmel Middle School. Once games start, practice will drop to one day a week. A birth certificate, report card, and current physical are required to participate!

BASKETBALL(all ages)- The Basketball season runs from November to February. Cheerleaders will cheer for South Park Youth Association's basketball teams. They practice on Mondays and Wednesdays at Sharon Elementary and cheer at games on Saturdays. Games are at South Mecklenburg High School. Once games start, practice will drop to one day a week.

COMPETITIVE CHEERLEADING(9th Grade and below)- Competitive cheerleading offers the more intense athlete the opportunity to take their passion for cheerleading to the next level. Competition cheerleaders will be pushed both physically and mentally, but without losing sight of our purpose, FUN! The competition season runs from August to March. Cheerleaders will compete in 5 to 7 competitions throughout the season!
