Saruman--Christopher Lee

Saruman

About Saruman

He was once known as Saruman the Wise, but his greed for power corrupted him and he joined forces with Saruman. At one point, he tried to get Gandalf to join him in the fight, but was refused. He imprisoned Gandalf at his tower Orthanc and left him to die if he would not consider his offer. Gandalf escaped his clutches. Saruman has created an army of his own, one surpassing even Sauron's at this point. His are the Uruk-Hai, a cross of Orc and man that are tearing apart the countryside in search of the one with the Ring. He has marked them with a white palm print on their face and given them the power to cross Middle Earth even in the daytime. He hopes that he will gain the Ring and overthrow Sauron himself. Then he will possess all the powerful and become the most powerful man in Middle Earth!
