Okay, bear with me here. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE EVER WORKED WITH HTML INSTEAD OF THOSE HANDY LITTLE HOMEPAGE EDITORS, SO THIS PAGE IS QUICK AND MAY BE UGLY but I didn't mean for it to look good right now. I just wanted to get the word out. I'll keep improving it little by little before hopefully becoming highly adept at HTML, at which point I'll probably do a bigger project. I dunno.
I don't know how MIDI's sound on your computer but they sound beautiful on mine so I had to put some on here! I hope you enjoy them.
LISTEN UP...before I proceed, I'd like to give credit where credit is due...
After sitting through every episode of "Evangelion," I was plunged into a deep state of thought for weeks (good thing it was in the middle of summer). My friends, however, quickly dismissed the ending as a pathetic, sorry disappointment, giving it little merit, if any at all. I finally gathered my thoughts and came to a conclusion. That conclusion was that "Evangelion" ended the way it was meant to be ended. However, I never shared my conclusion because everyone around me was too busy whining about the ending to listen. To add to that, I'm not really the type people listen to in the first place. Thus, I kept it in my head.
Anyway, I just came across a very well done page in defense of Anno and his conclusion of "Evangelion." To put it mildly, I was overjoyed to find the page! If you've already seen the series, you should definitely check it out first. If you haven't seen the series, move on but keep it in mind:
In Defense of a Vision: Anno's Evangelion.Well, finding that page gave me some hope...hope that not everybody thought the same way about the ending of "Evangelion." It prompted me to set aside some time and put up at least something about "Evangelion" on the web. Like I said, as I find more time, I'll expand. The college life...sheesh...time time time...never seems to be enough of it. Anyway, a big thanks to Sarah Davis for inspiring me to get off my rear and do something. Also, a big thanks to Joe for showing me how to do MIDIs and to Jamie Spencer for helping me with the pics once again. What would I do without you? Ummm...we'd better not answer that one. ^_^
That's all for now. I'll improve periodically wherever I see I need it. I might add a spoilers section but I don't know. I'm happy with this being an intro page and won't bother unless I receive requests or something to put up a spoiler page.
You are listening to "Cruel Angel's Thesis," the main theme to "Evangelion"
