History of the Spanish American War

The United States Navy: USS Maine
Due to my interest in the Spanish American War, I have
attempted to put together a webpage dedicated solely to
that short, but powerful period. The events that occurred
between April and August of 1898 changed American and
World history forever. It is also my purpose to pay
tribute to the Boys of '98 who gave their lives for their
country. As with those 266 brave men who were killed aboard
the Battleship Maine, long may they be remembered!
