After Rep writers Randy Cordova and Victor Barajas took a whimsical look at where the Backstreet Boys might be in 10 years - we had A.J. doing infomercials with Richard Simmons - we received an overwhelming response from the Boys' following. Here's a sample:

I can't believe you would write such a heinous article on the BIGGEST act of 1999!!!!!!! Hate to act like a typical teenager, but HEL-LO, the Backstreet Boys right now are, as their song title so conveniently states, larger than life. They can do no wrong in the eyes of all their fans. For you to write such a CRAPPY article, let me just say you better prepare yourself for A LOT of HATE MAIL!!!!!!! Do you really want to be hated by MILLIONS of people AROUND THE WORLD?????!!!!!! I mean, you may think you're so cool, by writing an article dissing the Backstreet Boys, but you're not. It just shows how JEALOUS you are of their success. . . . Umm . . . can I ask you something?? What in the hell is your problem?? Just because the Backstreet Boys are so successful and you can't deal with it, doesn't mean you have to go and write an article like this. Yeah, I know, one day it's coming that the BSB will go their separate ways but GIVE IT UP, PEOPLE!! Backstreet Boys are awesome. Why can't you just accept that?? You have to be rude and crude to the most awesome group alive and one more thing, THEY ARE NOT A BOY BAND!! I am so sick of seeing their names under the label of "boy band." Hi, usually I find things like this funny, but this one, oh but this one, this one was so (expletive) stupid and so (expletive) retarded that I hated it.
