Keeping food cold - use a blow up baby swimming pool.  Put ice in the pool and then your food.  The pool will hold alot of food and keep it cold for hours.  Add water and freeze small empty butter containers.  They take longer to melt.

Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter, cut out shapes from thawed frozen pound cake. Frost and decorate with colored sugar.

Use pieces from fruit salad to create colorful ice cubes or ice rings for punch.

Monster in a Cage - Slice a banana into pieces of about 1 1/2 inches. Spread frosting, cream cheese, or peanut butter over the bananas. Slice an orange and throw out the ends. Put frosting/cream cheese/peanut butter on one orange slice on one side. Set banana on orange slice. Grate carrot or coconut and stick it to the banana for fur. Use carrot slices or m&m's for eyes. Then stick about 5-6 toothpicks around the edge of the orange slice and put another orange slice on top. Contributed by Meredith - thanks

Party Punch - use equal amounts of cherry HiC and Seven Up. Make a ring of ice with frozen strawberries.

Heat one small jar of grape jelly and one jar of chilie sauce. Add little meatballs or cocktail weiners. Serve with toothpicks. Contributed by Zill - thanks

Take ham or corn beef - pat dry with papertowel. Spread softened cream cheese and roll a dill pickle spear up in it. Cut into bite size pieces. Insert a party stick (toothpick). Arrange on tray. Quick, easy, low cost and makes for a nice conversation piece.Contributed by Karen - thanks
