I would like to thank you for signing my guestbook, I'm not going to change the page completely but I
will change some of it!!!!!
If anyone knows how to put pictures on a site please tell me!!!!!!I AM COMPLETELY, AND TOTALLY AGAINST ALL HORSE ABUSE, AND SLAUGHTER!!!!!!- mY hORSES,
my horses are very good. I have a thoroughbred named Pretty, she's 8 years old, and she's a seal brown
She can be very sweet, but she is very mean to the other horses.
I got her when she was 8 months old, for my 5th birthday
she was abused, she had deep cuts, that should have had stitches, all over her.
The people thought that she would either go lame for life, or die.
She is now a beautiful horse.
I ,also, have an Arabian, her name is crystal, she's two years old,
she's a blood bay. I'm training her english, she already had a saddle, and bridle on her,
she took the bit really well, I was surprised because she took it better than my 8 year old.
She has a very sweet and gentle disposition.
I ,also, have an appy!! He is a 26 year old gelding, named Tonka.
Yesterday(oct.30th) I took him on a 25 mile ride we only rode to the halfway point and rode back, because
if we were to go the whole way it would have been 11 hours long.
He has the best story but it is pretty sad. We got Tonka from the same place we got Pretty.
He was very abused. This is a place that sends horses out on a trail ride that has no experience,
that person brings him back so another person can get on and ride.
When the horses got tired they just whipped them until they went on the trail.
When we bought him Tonka did everything he could to kill you.
He used to run my older sister into low buildings.
Tonka finally was good after about a year of us having him.
One time there was a storm and it looked like Tonka was hit by lightning.
He wasn't, when lightning hits Tonka drops to the ground. I do want to say one thing, Tonka and I did two months of conditining for that ride.
It could be fatal to take an unconditioned horse on a ride that long ( especially an old one!) So I do not advise taking an unconditioned horse
(especially an old one ) on a super long ride!!!!
I also have a 17 year old spotted saddle horse, named,Patches. She is
very high strung. She gets very hard to stop,
to the point where it gets scary. She doesn't really have a story that I know so
I can't write that on here.
I also have a horse named Rocket, he's a 2 year old paint.
He has a little bit of a story, but it isn't what you'd really expect.
He was in a pen away from the other horses, because he was a stallion. we let
him loose in our front yard, we were just getting the house built. The workers wre
leaving, so my mom held Rocket. He reared up and came
down on her eye socket. my mom was in the hospital for a fractured eye socket.
- Western
This is a place where you count It is for stories (funny, sad, whatever)
abuout you riding western, questions about western riding,
and advice on western riding, put western as the subject in your e-mail
- English this is the same as western except put english as the subject in your e-mail
I have something for english so I'll put it on here. I belong to an awesome club called Pony Club
most english riders already know what I'm talking about, but I'm sure most western riders don't (I didn't know when I was western either)
It is a club that has mounted and unmounted meetings regularly, most have them every week but mine has it once a month.
It also has rallies, I was told they're kinda like a horse show. They have something called knowdown where you
are asked questions and whoever answers the most correctly wins(you are on a team) If any one would like to add on about Pony Club please e-mail me @

- from you: if you have any horse poems, information, or any other horsey stuff to put on this section, put from you as the subject.
- breed show:The Thoroughbred.
everyone into horses has heard of the thoroughbred. They are race horses, who are stereotyped as
only racehorses and nothing else, but they can be used for plenty of things.
They make graet eventers, dressage horses, jumpers, hunters, you name it.
There are some very famous racehorses such as Secratariat, Seattle Slew, Affirmed,Silver Charm, Charismatic, and lots of other horses.
There are also horses that aren't very famous race horses, but are famous eventers such as: Molokai,Allegro (a 1/2 T'bred), Chevalier, Makabi, Red, and many other horses.
They are hotbloods which means they can't grow a very thick winter coat.
- special report: COLIC:-(
If your horse starts kicking at his stomach, violently rolling, and acting strangely, and in pain, chances are that he has colic.
Colic is a very dangerous disease, you can't think "it will pass by" you have to get your horse help fast!!!!
Call a vet. Get your horse walking, or let him be comfortable? has a lot of controversy, ask your vet what to do. with my horse the vet said
to let him be comfortable, as long as he doesn't roll.
Colic is very scary to deal with, you have to keep reassuring your horse,
with a gentle voice. I think that my horse recovers from colic faster because I sit with him, and keep
petting him, and talking with a kind voice.
After the vet comes and treats your horse, you have to follow his intsructions precisely!!!
DO NOT RIDE the horse for about a week. After colic determine what the cause of the colic was,
and remove it from the area your horse was in.
If you live in a sandy area, like me, it is very hard to keep your horse on grass. The cause of my horse colicking was sand, and sweet feed.
We switched him to a senior food, he is now doing great!!!
This article is not meant to be a source of information,
you must strictly follow your vets orders.
