Tallahassee yard is interesting because it is DTC
on the Jacksonville side and CTC on the Chattahoochee side. See Timetable.
CSX North and South: A Jacksonville bound train is Northbound and a New Orleans bound train is Southbound despite the line being compass East-West. This gets interesting in Pensacola where the yard is compass North-South. But a train that leaves toward the compass North is actually a southbound to New Orleans. A train heading compass south is actually a northbound to Jacksonville. It also gets interesting in Tallahassee, where the locals to Bainbridge and Live Oak, both Northbounds, leave the yard in opposite directions!!!!!!!!
CSX time is Eastern time even in New Orleans. There
is no time zone.

Q238 autorack train rarely runs, I heard one going through here early July 2000.
U239 coal train from Mobile sometimes rerouted through
Tallahassee.
T124 coal train from Lynch to Boykin sometimes through
Tallahassee.
W??? are either business trains, military trains or maintenance of way trains.
G for grain trains are sometimes rerouted through here
mostly around harvest times in the Midwest.
