Jacksonville: Beaver St Tower; leveled in September 1999.
Baldwin Junction: operated by CSX. The switch tower at the diamond
is now abandoned but still standing. Photo coming soon... I hope.
Live Oak: The first railroad line across
the Georgia-Florida border from Live Oak to Dupont is now gone. The grading
still can be seen in some places.
Montecillo Branch: track was pulled and the depot in Montecillo
leveled. The junction at Drifton still has traces of tracks from the Branch.
It also has traces of the junction with the ACL line from Tampa to Albany.
Lloyd: depot is still standing.
Tallahassee: P&G RR and SAL depots are
still standing and in very good condition.
-Tallahassee Southeastern Ry: Tallahassee to Perry
was abandoned, and the track was pulled.
-Tallahassee RR was transformed into a bicycle trail.
A piece of track from a spur remains in St Marks.
-GF&A RR:
Carabelle to Tallahassee was abandoned, and the track pulled. Today the
grading can still be observed by following Spring Hill Rd South of the
Tallahassee airport.
Tallahassee to Bainbridge is operated by CSX.
North of Bainbridge, the line is operated by Georgia & Southwestern.
Havana-Quincy line was abandoned. A street in Quincy is named after the
GF&A and crosses US 90 at the bottom of the hill on the East side of
town.
Chattahoochee: River Junction has its
yard office still standing
Only a handful of caboose displays remain. (Chattahoochee and Tallahassee)
A few steam engines are also on display in the area.
