Nepenthes Merrilliana

This is such a stunning plant. Leaves start out pink in color, then turn green as they mature. It got off to a slow start, but has started to produce a small pitcher that still has yet to develop. Check back soon for close-ups!

It has now begun to produce pitchers. They start out red when small, but as they grow, the red seems to spread out giving the pitcher more of a pink tone. Also has a very striking lime green perisome, which in this picture has just begun to unfold.
