Isolate the victim from any familiar surroundings. Haigh usually brought the victim to his private lab.

This is when Haigh actually killed his victim. Used a revolver because it took least amount of energy.

| Stage 3
This was the most difficult aspect of the murder, disposing of the body. Haigh put the body in a bath of acid until it was gone. However, some body parts were immune to the acid, these were later recovered and used on trial. |
