Fate

Theory: A certain amount of fate is undeniably present.

7/5 - We as individuals may or may not have fate, and in any case we still have the illusion of freewill. But we as a society have a certain amount of self-propelled destiny. Part of that destiny is the advancement of technology. Other parts are less obvious and even questionable, but I feel some of them are our extinction brought on by ourselves, the exponentially accelerating decline of morals, and the decline of human dependency on each other (which reminds me of the old saying, "Divide and conquer").

Theory: There are two fates, the one God wants for us, and the one the devil wants for us.

6/12 - Basically, we are destined to live a life that is some combination and variation of both fates. Therefore our freewill is the decision of which path to choose.

But then agian, maybe there is only one fate and I am actually destined to type the very words I'm typing. Or maybe there is no God or fate and we are just here to make the best of what we have.
