#11 Kim Clark

2001: Kim Clark was one of three key forward substitutes for the CyberRays playing in their first post-college season. Her biggest game was 7/29 at Carolina in which she scored the first goal in the 57th minute, then assisted on Sissi's game-winner in the 68th minute.

Previous experience: Clark spent December 1999 in national team camp in San Diego, Calif. She played youth soccer with the DeAnza Magic from 1990 to 1995, but played only basketball and tennis at Monta Vista High School. She went to Southern California on a basketball scholarship, but missed soccer so much during her freshman year she decided to become a two-sport athlete. She was-first team all-Pacific-10 Conference in 1997-98-99. She was named to the Umbro all-America team in 1997 and '98, and was named a third-team all-American by SoccerBuzz and NSCAA in 1999. Despite a career marked by injuries, including a broken leg, she holds the Trojans' school record for career assists (27) and ranks second in goals (29) and total points (85). Clark was a forward for the DeAnza Magic team, coached by her mother, which won state titles in 1994 and '95 and the 1994 national championship.

Personal: Kimberly Joy Clark. Born in Panama City, Fla. Graduated from Southern California in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Father Ron is an aerospace engineer, mother Patricia is a retired teacher. Was a nationally ranked youth tennis player. Twin sister Kristin also played basketball at USC.
