*benji and joel are identical twins born 5 minutes appart *all song are written by benji and joel and are totally true, taken from personal experiences *benji and joel refuse to use their father's last name *the other band members don't use their surnames professionally either(i'm guessing privacy reasons but who knows why?) *all five(now 4 because Aaron left) attended La Plata High School(in Maryland) *the name "Good Charlotte" was taken from a childrens story which had no signifigence in their lives *the band's record label is Epic Records *GC's song "the click" is the theme song for the MTV cartoon series "the undergrads" *Benji and Joel decided to become musicians after attending a "Beastie Boys" concert in 1995 *2 weeks after Benji first play the guitar, they had their first band practice and Benji only knew 3 chords, D,G and A *Joel and Benji's mother had a break down after their father left when they were 16 years old *The album's "Festival Song" was named after the HFStival, at which Good Charlotte has performed twice *in first grade Benji was Mike D (from the Beastie boys) for rock star day *Benji and Joel had financial problems and worked at many places such as Target, Borders Books, Up Against the Wall and other stores at the local mall. They both also were shampoo boys. these job lasted ussually about a few months *When Benji and Joel were once evicted from their appartment they lived with guitarist Billy *Aaron quit the football team to play the drums for GC...update Aaron quit GC to join his bros band Wakefield *Benji loves bondage pants(they r so cool) *the craziest thing Joel ever done was broken into the National Zoo late at night *billy used to have dread locks *Benji and Joel played baseball in highschool *billy doesn't like any of that old rock music *bad religion was mean to GC at a show they played with them *benji is a HUGE rancid fan! *billy is a HUGE silverchair fan and actually got to see them record some music! *dusty brill is the new temporary drummer from gc, he's a really really sweet guy *GC should have a new album out april/may-ish
