I became a Gator in Sept.of 1964. I can't remember the day exactly, but it was the day that
I
arrived on the University of Florida campus, and moved into Murphree L, on the third floor, across
from the women's gymnasium, with a perfectview through the north east corner of the football field.
There was no way to ignore the Heart of the Gator that I beheld during that first September
Saturday's religious service being celebrated on Florida Field.
Been a Gator ever since.
