Adams Backs OutMay 1, 2002 |
---|
David Adams, who was to head hockey's return to Tallahassee, dropped out of his agreement with the Civic Center and the Atlantic Coast Hockey League to join as a partner in Jeff Brubaker's new venture, the Orlando Seals.
Adams departure came as a shock to the community.
Atlantic Coast Hockey League president, Bill Coffey, says this does not effect plans to return hockey to the Leon County Civic Center.
Coffey intends to run the team while looking for local investors.
There has been no indication if Adams' departure will cause problems with getting a lease for the team from the Civic Center's managment.
