Abortion and the Conscience of the Nation is an article that President Reagan wrote in 1983 on the tenth anniversary of Roe v Wade. Please take a moment out to read this wonderful article.
What The Fourth Of July Means To Me When he was president, Ronald Reagan wrote the following piece for Independence Day in 1981. Aide Michael Deaver later wrote: "This 4th of July message is the President's own words and written initially in his own hand." For one who was born and grew up in the small towns of the Midwest, there is a special kind of nostalgia about the Fourth of July.
That Old Ragged Flag. Written by Johnny Cash. Our flag has stood the test of time in many battles and has always flown proudly.
President Washington's Farewell Address This was President Washington's farewell address to congress and ultimately to the nation on September 17, 1796, right before the November elections.

As she stood there, strong and tall.
She couldn't turn away,
She was forced to watch it all.

Pledge Of Allegiance As a schoolboy, one of Red Skelton's teachers explained the words and meaning of the Pledge of Allegiance to his class. Skelton later wrote down, and eventually recorded, his recollection of this lecture. It is followed by an observation of his own.
Getty's Burg Address The most trying time in our countries history. Brother fighting against brother, a war among ourselves. Everyone praying to God against the other. On one of the great battle fields President Lincoln delivered this speech, a speech to help heal our land.
Mayflower Compact Today they say that Christianity was never at the heart or in any intent of the founding of our nation. However, when we go back and read documents written during that time period by those that actually worked to bring about this great nation we find that Christ has always been the center of that great endeavor.
The Constitution of the United States Have you ever taken time to read the US Constitution? If you haven't I hope that you will do so now. Of all the documents in the world that govern countries the US Constitution is the shortest but yet grants the most freedoms. It will only take a few moments of your time to read and when you are finished you will be surprised to find that some things that you have always been told was in it, really aren't.
The Declaration of Independence Remember that document? It was the one signed by John Hancock, as well as some of our other famous founding fathers such as Thomas Jefferson, Sammual Adams and Benjamin Franklin just to name a few. These great men risked all they had to write and sign this famous document. Please take the time to read it.
