Sylvia's Inn

Sylvia and Jacob’s small inn!

This picture is one of four
free hand drawing that I
had made for this story,
the description of the coral site
and the people involved were passed down
to me by my mother!

Grand father had explained to my
mother that Sylvia was of average height
and weight she was in her early
thirty’s at the time and had long red hair.
She was out spoken,
had a good head for business,
and caught the eye of many men passing through.

Jacob was a drifter
who had come from parts
unknown and was hired by Sylvia
to help run the
coral’s, bunk house, and tavern.
Some say it was jealousy”
and then so say it was
$2,500 that caused Jacob
to kill the head cattle drover
that night so long ago.

All these answers and more will be answered,
in my book that I am writing about
the Legend of Jacob’s Lantern.
