You know what question I hate? "Do you like The Beatles or The Rolling Stones?" Whatever, elitist. They're both great and besides, what about The Byrds? The guy pictured above, Gene Clark did more for music than any could ever imagine. Helped introduce Psychedelia via The Byrds, helped spearhead the hippy-country insurgency with The Gosdin Brothers and with Doug Dillard, wrote some of the best, timeless songs but has hardly been acknowledged because people like Gram Parsons have stolen the legendary thunder. I mean, Parsons is alright but truly pales in comparison songwriting-wise compared to the limited works of Gene Clark. I have a link on the second page, go check it out.
