A disaster struck on 11th September,
The world was shocked, we all remember;
"The WTC has collapsed!!!", the newspaper exclaimed,
Osama, said Bush, was to be blamed;
Many got injured, many perished,
The entire world condemned what they(terrorists) did;
As expected, he(Bush) declared a war on terrorism,
To avenge, what he called was an act of barbarism;
His first prey was Osama and his Al-Qaida fans,
To eliminate them he made innumerous plans;
But, they were protected by the taliban,
So, he decided to bombard the entire Afghanistan;
For which he even took help of pro-Taliban Pakistan;
Soon, the B-2 bombers and jaguars were up in the Afghanistan sky,
Ready to bid Taliban a Good Bye;
They attacked their establishments,
And bombarded every bit of land,
Infact, they virtually fried them on a frying pan;
On the ground the Northern Alliance made substantial gains,
And forced the Taliban militia to recede out of fear and pain;
Taliban was cornered in a place called Tora-Bora,
Alongwith with their pals of the Al-Qaida;
It is a region shielded by a dense network of the caves and dens,
Where the US feared hid their most wanted Osama Bin Laden;
They bombarded it day and night
with every bomb and their full millitary might;
Then, they headed for a crackdown on ALQaida,
Hundreds were captured, but, none was Osama!
That was the end of the Drama...
May be Osama bin Laden is still alive,
But, I am sure he will never behave or act as a naive;
'Coz he has learnt an important lesson,
after threatening the sovereignity of a nation.
