The Augusta Koi & Water Garden Society is a nonprofit organization formed in January 1998, to encourage a greater appreciation of Koi and Water Gardening. The objectives are to:
A. To create, promote and enlarge the hobby of ponds and water gardens for the purpose of keeping, breeding, appreciating and exhibiting carp, a fresh water fish also known as Koi, Nishikigoi or Japanese fancy colored Carp.
B. To disseminate information about the hobby to the membership of this association and to the public.
C. To engage in educational social activities related to the hobby and to acquire and own such property as may be necessary for any or all of the foregoing purposes.

Meetings Monthly/First Wednesday
Membership $5.00/family
Dues $10.00/year
AKCA sponsors KOI USA, the official magazine for Koi and Pond enthusiasts. Visit the AKCA web site. These guys visited the web site a year ago and just finished digging the pond behind them.....
