SUNDERLAND CREATES A MONSTER.

Sunderland AFC today unleashed a monster by launching the "Metro FM Stand Monster" - a part season ticket for the final 9 home games of the Premiership campaign.
The "Monster" ticket starts with the Manchester United home game on December 28th, and also includes the visits of Newcastle, Middlesbrough, Leeds, the Easter Monday game against Bradford and West Ham - the final home game of the season.
Designed to appeal to supporters on the look out for an extra special Christmas present and on sale for a limited period only, "The Monster" goes on sale this weekend, with an under 16 ticket costing £150 and an adult one costing £175 in the Metro FM Stand.
Chairman Bob Murray said of "the Monster", "This is a great chance for Sunderland supporters to guarantee their seats at the most prestigious home games of the season."
Supporters who receive a "Monster" will automatically become subscribers to "Legion of Light" magazine to the end of the season, and enter the priority booking system for away tickets, subject to loyalty.
Sunderland is releasing Metro FM season tickets for sale because of the low take up of visiting supporters' ticket allocations this season. The club has now agreed to offer a maximum of 2,200 tickets to visiting supporters until the end of this season, which will allow for the relocation of supporters who wish to move from the Vaux Stand whilst the roof is off, and the new "Monster" tickets.
Next season, the supporters who take a "Monster" ticket will be offered relocation to a different part of the stadium, and the away allocation will revert to 3,000 for each league game.
Several thousand tickets will remain available for every home game for non -season ticket holders to purchase - ensuring that affordable and accessible football remains a reality at the Sunderland Stadium of Light.
