So here I stand again-alone!
The Survivor!
Picking the most destructive course imaginable
So I can remain inviolate and invunerable.
Surviving trials and tribulations
Other would never handle
And testing the limits of my strength
Not knowing the price I pay
The price of not being really Human
Never seeing the mountaintops
Just having a deep familiarity with the valleys
Pain and pleasure, hope and despair
Or is that painful pleasure
And hopeless despair?
I always know the price must be paid.
I wonder what a Survivor survives for?
But here I am - still standing
I little dented, a little bent
Wondering what's next on the Hit Parade
And wondering how long I can remain
A Survivor.
