Before sending me a message,
please read this!!!!
All
the skins I had on this site
as well as any of the other
skin download sites around the
internet are for version 6 or
before. THEY WILL NOT WORK IN
THE NEWER VERSIONS. So pleaase,
before you send me a note asking
me why it doesn't work, check
the version of Yahoo Messenger
you have. There is nothing I
can do to get things to work
in a non-compatible version.

Due to an increase of demands for my time, and the length
of time it takes to tweak new skins, I haven't been
spending much time on skins lately. Add in also the
fact that the constant updates to the Yahoo Messenger
require continuous updates tothe skins, and I just do
not have the time and energy to keep making them any
longer. So, I've decided to stop making any new skins,
and am changing the direction of this site in the upcoming
months.
A while back, I bought some software to make screensavers,
and in combination with my photography hobby, I've decided
instead to use this site to showcase some of my screensavers.
As of this time, all screensavers are expected to be
free of charge, just as the skins were. Feel free to
check the screensaver page, and download the current
ones, and check back for updates throughout the year.

back to an old version and New
Skin! -

You can now go back to version
5.6 of Yahoo Messenger so that
you can use all the older versions
of skins on most sites! All you
need to do is go to the Yahoo
Help page and follow the instructions
there (you have to uninstall the
new version before installing the
old one).
For those that know how to get
rid of programs, you can go straight
to the download link here: Version
5.6.
On the Yahoo page, I've also posted
a new version of the Philadelphia
Eagles skin for version 6.0. Sorry
all you Philly Eagle fans, maybe
next year. Coming from a Steelers
fan who would have liked to see
a cross-state or "Turnpike"
Super Bowl! Here's to hoping for
next year!

New
Messenger Version Warning!!!

Yahoo has released a new version
and have switched to the same type
of interface as WinAmp and a lot
of other software. Problem is,
skins will not be as easy to make
as they were before, and converting
them to the new version will be
extremely difficult. If you do
not want to lose the ability to
use all your old skins, keep the
old
version 5.6. These skins will
not work in version 6.
I am working on learning the new
method to make the skins, so any
new updates for YM6 will be a while.
As I get the hand of it, I will
work on updating all the older
skins if possible.

look. It involves layers to present the second set of links along the top and a return to the text based site. This is intended to help those using dial-up connections from having to sit through the lengthy download time of the version 5 site. |

While I prefer Yahoo Messenger
due to all the additional modification
it allows you to make in your
skin, or theme, MSN Messenger
has a larger user base. Hopefully,
one day soon, they will come out
with the option to change the
appearance without doing it manually.
I recently sent a note to the
MSN Support Team asking in reference
to adding the ability to change
the appearance of MSN Messenger. |

the skins here -
2003
Every skin here has been used by myself or a friend at
one point or another. If you find any issues with any
here, please let me know and I will try to fix them. If
I cannot fix them, I will change it so that it looks better.
Make sure you have the latest
version of YM here or MSNM
here. If you haven't downloaded
skins before, I have the instructions
on how to get the files in the
correct location at the top of
the MSNM and Yahoo! pages. To
make things easier, just download
the .exe files and it will automatically
download the YM skins into the
correct folder (unless you installed
the program somewhere other than
the default location).
All the theme pages will have
an image of what the theme will
look like when loaded into your
messenger program. Just click
the "preview" link provided
next to each to view the skins/themes.
