Japanese Support Not Enough For the Kings By Matt KingsCourt Co-Founder (Written on November 7, 1999)
After exploding for 63 points in the first half, the Sacramento Kings couldn't find their offense, and ended up losing 114-101 to the T-Wolves, splitting the two games in Japan. The Kings couldn't find a way to stop Kevin Garnett as he scored 31 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Despite huge fan support (again) Sacramento seemed to run out of gas middle of the third quarter, and could't put enough points on the board to form a comeback. Up 63-61 at halftime, things seemed to be great, probably for both teams. The third quarter opened up both teams exchanging baskets, but the Wolves went on a 10-0 run middle of third quarter and cruised from there. The loss drops Sacramento to 1-1, and Minnesota improves its record to 1-1. |
