Vlade finished with 10 points In a game which matched-up the Sacramento Kings with the Utah Jazz--the team that eliminated them from the playoffs last year, the Kings played hard, and they played with heart. These two teams are basically the exact opposite of each other, the Kings run, they play with flash, and they don't play defense very well, whereas the Jazz slow the game down, play with fundamentals, and are a very good defensive team. The Kings proved that they have one of the deepest teams in the league as the bench scored 37 points and played a huge role in the fourth quarter, which was when the Kings secured their 105-92 victory. Jon Barry led the bench with 8 of his 12 points coming in the fourth including two 3-pointers. Lawrence Funderberbuke played huge with 11 points and 7 boards. But, we can't forget about our starters. Chris Webber scored 20, grabbed 9 rebounds, and had 4 blocks; Jason Williams had 18 with 5 assists. In all, Sacramento had 6 players with double digits. Thankfully, Sacramento was finally able to play some defense, as they are known as being basically the worst in the league at defense. The Kings went on a 15-3 and 15-4 in the third and fourth quarters respectfully. Karl Malone had 20 points and 7 boards for Utah.
