Konami to develop for GBA and Dolphin

Last September, Konami agreed to set up a joint venture with Nintendo to develop multi-player games for the upcoming 32-bit Gameboy Advance, as well as Nintendo's next-generation console, codenamed Dolphin.

Kitaue said that Konami is planning to develop newer, more innovative games for Game Boy Advance that will be able to connect to cellular phones with an adapter that Nintendo will introduce with the portable. Users will be able to access the Internet and download game software to chat with other players.

"PS2 gives users beautiful graphics but not necessarily new types of games," Kitaue said. "Game Boy has a better chance to offer new type of consumer entertainment."
