eV reports that EA is scooping up the rites for LOTR video games, the license fees reportedly cost over ten million dollars, maybe they'll actually do something with the license :) read the story here

Tolkien Online has done it again, this time some surprising news about the US release of the new board game, seems it will be released sooner than expected with a new distributor. Check out the Tolkien Online story for all the info and a new pic.

Found this at Gamers.com, the German gaming site Spielbox-online has posted some awesome new pics of the LOTR board game, the site is in German but can be translated into English. So go on over and take a look.

Seems Sierra is in a bit of trouble as it has been revealed that the Saul Zaentz company is suing Sierra for there LOTR game license. Check out The RPG Vault for the full story and an interview with Sierra President David Grenewetzki.
I have heard from a reliable source that Interplay is on the verge of picking up the contract to make games based on the new movies. Good news for us Gamers as Interplay has made a large number of quality games.
