A view of the Patriot left wing advancing. The troops shown are all part of Jim Pitt's command (I believe).

A view of the Brittanian center and right. The troops marching on the road are Hessians part of Ed Sansing'g grendier brigade. The troops crossing Sutter's stream are Sean Pitts' forces. Both of these brigades were the elite of the Brittanian army, with each unit classed as "grenadiers."

This image is probably taken at the end of the first turn of the game.

A turn later, the Brittanians marching down the road are reinforcements for "Gentleman" John Murdaugh who had the extreme left flank of the Brittanian army. The Hessians, moving off the road are the last of Ed Sansing's forces.

This image was taken one turn later than the previous one, probably after movment on the second turn.

A close up, taken at the same time as the image above showing the Highlanders crossing the stream. Behind them are the Welsh Fusiliers.

A view of Ed Sansing's men British Grenadiers and Hessians crossing the stream. A loyalist unit in green is screening the extreme right of the Brittannians. This is probably at the end of the first turn.

Bill Hamilton's troops hold the Murican center. The unit straddling the hedge may be Bill's or it may have been part of Phil Young's command, on the Patriot Right.

The Brittannian forces, 42nd Highlanders and the Combined light battalion, have advanced another turn, so this is probably at the end of turn three.

Each of the Brittannian units has lost two stands, out of the six with which if began the battle. The casualties here were mainly musketry, since the arillery in the center concentrated on the enemy gunners.

The result of this artillery firing at the enemy guns is that the Patriot guns in the center are unmanned - all of the gunners having been shot down.

The patriot commander in chief, General Warshington, looks on the dead gunners with sorrow.

Ed Sansing reaches for a die as the Patriots flood forward on the left and in the center. Phil Young held the Rebel right by the skin of his teeth, with all his units routed at one time or another, but his sacrifice allowed the Patriots to mass on thier left.

The Brittannian assault in the center, agains the troops behind the hedge has been thrown back. Fresh Patriot units numbering better than two to one move Ed Sansings depleted grenaider brigade on the Brittanian right flank.

Behind the stream in the center are the last two Brittanian brigades. They are the only reserves. This image is at the end of turn 5 or 6. The game stopped soon after this and when we counted the victory points, the Patriots had 34 and the forces of King George had only 24.
