GAMING SITES
Wargaming the Russian Civil War. A VERY nice looking site, "A project by members of the South East Scotland Wargames Club". Great photos of nicely painted 15mm troops.
EPBM This is a link to an electronic version of a boardgame published in 1976 inside Strategy & Tactics Magazine. I would kill to get the issue of the magazine that accompanied this game.
General Interest RCW Sites
The Russo-Polish War, 1919-1920: A Bibliography of Materials in English. This referance was discovered by John Dunn.
AUSTIN ARMORED CARS Part one has information about armored cars in the Russian and Soviet armies, part two has informatin about the vehicles in the Polish Army.
THE BLUE ARMY Interesting information about the Polish forces trained in France during WWI, which later formed a very important part of the Polish army during the Russo-Polish war. Also other information about the Polish military forces.
THE RUSSIAN CIVIL WAR AND THE RUSSO POLISH WAR Fairly short articles off the "Museum of Communism" site. A good basic introduction, but very short.
NESTOR MAKHNO A site with information about the "Green" leader. Actually a condensation of a book on the man who was either a Ukrainian patriot or a bandit depending on your point of view.
The Russian Revolution - RUSSIAN HISTORY It has a sub-page on "The Civil War and After" and a great deal more. A tremendous number of links to Russian history. I reccomend this highly.
Another RUSSIAN HISTORY This is another compilation of links to various documents, some of which have to do with the RCW and some are duplicates found below. All of the RCW documents that I have found are like a family reunion. All are related in some manner, and some are very close cousins! Still, I thought it was very good source of info. -Jay
Civil War in South Russia. Very Good! Another site with multiple links, many repeating what is above. I reccomend this also!
D.Bookmahn's A book store in virginia. One of his specialties is works on Imperial and Soviet Russia. This link is directly to the Russian list. The prices seem quite modest.
The following sites concern the First World War in general
The World War I section on the "war and military history" home page. Voluminous. Much about the western front, less about the eastern. Sites for war poets, etc.
History of Russia page, many sub-pages. A great deal of information on the History of Russia and the Revolution. Little info on the RCW. Nice section of maps & photos.
An INTERACTIVE TIME LINE of the great war. I have not explored it beyond a superficial look. It appears to be mainly oriented towards the western front.
World War I - Trenches on the Web A very attractive site, but it also seems to face towards the west.
