A WARRIOR'S LAST STAND

*scene opens*

There is darkness and everything is silent until distant voices are heard and there comes a scuffling sound. The shadows of two figures are cast against a wall from the beams of large flashlights. The beams traverse the area quickly, revealing the high, moss covered walls within the ancient temple. One of the figures approaches a pile of fallen pillars and broken rock and motions hastily as the other figure runs to the shadowy heap.

*scene moves in on the two figures revealing them to be Dr. Andross and Dynamo Phoenix.*

Andross: *in a low whisper* Come here and look at this...

Dynamo approaches the heap and looks in the direction Andross is pointing...

*camera follows Dynamo’s gaze to a crevice beneath a crumbled pillar, where below it lay a shallow vault.*

There, glowing in the beam of the flashlight is a treasure chest carved of pure onyx, engraved with a gold symbol of a large bird, wings outstretched, rising from a fire of sparkling rubies. Dr Andross and Dynamo both stare at it with widened eyes...

Dynamo: The...the...
Andross: *impatiently* Yes...now pull it out of there!

Dynamo quickly crawls under the pillar, brushing cobwebs aside and grabs the treasure chest, struggling, but eventually pulling it free.

Andross:*voice echoing* At last....we have uncovered what I have longed for decades to finally discover.... the one power that will render Vector Yamazaki......

*scene shows Andross's eyes up close*

Andross: *whispering* Mortal.....

*scene flashes to black with a thunderclap*

A Warrior’s Last Stand

The scene now focuses in on the expanse of blue seas off the coast of Australia. A large, luxury cruise ship is visable from above as the camera slowly lowers at sea level, showing a view of the ship sailing directly forward.

(Music Plays- Dirty Vegas- ‘Days Go By’ intro only)

*camera turns 90 degrees to the left and glides swiftly on deck*

Several passengers are seen standing on the upper deck and admiring the view and some are sitting on lounge chairs soaking up the sun and fresh air. Among those seated are five members of the Yamazaki family: Vector, his daughters Penny and Jessica, his sister Tanya, and his adopted son, Havok. Standing by the rail are Ramon and Zane, with them is a humanoid numbat. Ramon is holding a camcorder, filming the distant view of the Austrailian islands...

(music fades)

Ramon: *narrating* And just have a look at those magnificent islands.... gorgeous view from here....

*scene shows a view from the camera lens with small red letters reading REC in the upper right corner.*

Suddenly, the peaceful view is interrupted by a hand waving in front of the lens and a voice laughing....

Ramon: *angrily* Brash!! You just totally screwed up that shot!
Brash: *grinning* Sorry....I didn’t mean too.
Zane: And I thought Crash could be annoying. -_-

*camera pans to the left where moments later, Charlie, Kitty, Coco and Crash are seen making their way towards the rest of the group*

Charlie: Yo, Ramon...you should try filming from the other side of the boat...we just saw sharks circling over there!
Brash: Cool! Let’s throw Crash overboard and then we could really see some action!
Crash: *motioning to Brash* No, I insist....ladies first.

Brash clenches his fists and runs directly for Crash... Coco immediately grabs Crash’s arm and pulls him back just as he is about to lunge forward and throw a punch. Kitty jumps in front of Brash at the same time, pushing him away and holding him back from beating Crash to a pulp.

Kitty: Brash, just leave Crash alone!
Coco: *to Crash* YOU TOO! Why must you always start trouble?!
Crash: *in the style of Shaggy* It wasn’t me!

*scene flashes showing Vector relaxing in his chair*

He is wearing a blue, muscle shirt and a pair of silver Bermuda shorts with two black and red stripes down the sides...

Vector: *lifting his shades* It looks like Mr. Fantastic over there has met his match.
Tanya: Who??
Vector: *angrily* Crash...he’s finally found an opponent as annoying and stupid as himself!
Tanya: *tisk* Vector! That wasn’t a very nice thing to say! Why don’t you just forgive Crash for your past conflicts and maybe you, him, and Brash will all get along better.
Penny: Tanya’s right... you shouldn’t let those two get on your nerves. This is a dream vacation...finally you can put the worries of Andross and the Future Rivals behind you.
Jessica: That’s right, Dad. Now’s you’re chance to just relax and have some fun.
Vector: *smiling* You girls are right, I guess I was being to harsh on them. We’re here to enjoy our vacation and we should all get a chance to have fun. What do you say we invite everyone over here to have some drinks and cake that Monnika made for us?
Havok: Sure! That was nice of Monnika...er...or should I say, Mom....to think of us before she left for the North Pole to help Santa this year...

*scene fades now showing what appears to be the interior of a secret, underwater laboratory.*

In the center of the room is a large, steel lab table where Dr. Andross, Dynamo, and Bronzer, the ultimate android warrior are all gathered. Andross lifts a large, onyx scepture and Bronzer clasps the treasure chest against the table as Andross prys the lid open with the end of the scepture. There is a loud, echoing snap as the hinges are broken. Dynamo and Bronzer look on eagerly as the evil doctor slowly lifts the lid of the chest...

Andross: *triumphantly* YES!!! THIS IS IT!!!!

He reaches two hand into the treasure chest and gently removes a large, black crystal, swirling with dark mists and glowing brilliantly from within.

Andross: *whispering* The Crystal of the Black Phoenix.....

Lifting the scepture, Andross slowly places the crystal between the two large prongs at one end. There comes a humming sound as the crystal suddenly glows brighter and vapors engulf it in a burst of firey light. Andross laughs aloud, his sinister voice echoing within the windowed walls of the dimly light hideout. He raises the glowing scepture in the air, as the once dark crystal is now seen, surrounded by a purple- red glow as light wavers from within it.

*camera zooms in on the Crystal as the scene slowly fades black, and fades back in at a view of the upper deck on the cruise ship*

The Yamazakis’ and their friends are all sitting together as a group at an umbrella table....with the exception of Crash and Brash who refuse to sit anywhere within ten feet near eachother. Crash is sitting over on one of the lounge chairs stuffing his mouth with chocolate cake and guzzling down a wumpa smoothie. Brash is sitting at the table between Charlie and Kitty as he proceeds to dig into a huge piece of cake...

Vector: Say, Brash, would you like me to order you a drink?
Brash: *mouth full of cake* Sure! Whadda ya got?
Penny: We have wumpa fruit smoothies or passion fruit cocktail....
Brash: *gulping down the cake* Nah....I’ll pass on those...just roll out a Fosters on the rocks!

Everyone else just glances at eachother with anime sweat drops on their foreheads.

*scene fades*

Over the vast, ocean waters, two figures on waveriders appear from the distance....

*camera zooms in on them, showing Bronzer, followed closely behind by Dynamo*

(Music Plays- Linkin Park- Pts. of Athrty)

Dynamo lifts a pair of binoculars to his eyes...

*scene shows view of the distant cruise ship though the lenses of the binoculars*

Dynamo: There it is....now remember...we just follow the plan and move in on Yamazaki...
Bronzer: What if he refuses our challenge?
Dynamo: Vector Yamazaki is the last immortal of our trio....either he joins us or we destroy him....
Bronzer: Then there’s no time to lose.....let’s go!!

With a roar of engines, the evil duo take to the waves, speeding towards the cruise ship on the horizon...

*scene flashes showing everyone on the upper deck again*

Brash: *talking loudly* Gee...it looks like Crash is just way to cool to sit with us!
Crash: *eyeing Brash* Hmmm...what was the sound? Must have been the wind...
Vector: Come on Brash, just leave him alone...
Brash: *sipping his Fosters* And since when was Vector Yamazaki a member of the Crash Bandicoot fan club?
Vector: Look, everyone else here agrees that we should all just chill and have a nice vacation, afterall, we didn’t come all this way from home to fight.

Moments after Vector said this Crash walked by the table holding his stomach and moaning....

Crash: Uuuunnhhh...I don’t feel good....
Brash: Oh man, back up! He’s gonna blow chunk!!

Crash runs to the side of the rail holding his mouth and moments later vomiting can be heard. Everyone cringes slightly at the sight...

Brash: Ewwww....there goes Monika’s cake!
Jessica: Do you always have to make a big deal about everything?!

Crash trudges away from the rail wiping his mouth on his arm. He slowly walks past Brash, then turns suddenly and throws a piece of chocolate cake at his face.

Crash: *laughing* Flying food at four o’clock!
Vector: *gritting his teeth* But no matter how far from home I travel, I can never get away from him....*points to Crash* OR HIM! *points to Brash*
Zane: Here we go again...
Coco: What’s the matter with you two?!
Crash: WAAAAHHH! Can’t we all just get along??

Vector finally loses his temper after trying to keep calm the entire time. He jumps up from his chair and Brash makes a run down the side deck. Vector dashes forward and punches Crash in the chest, knocking him down the flight of stairs leading to the lower deck.

Brash: *popping his head around the corner, laughing* I guess not.

Everyone jumps up and runs over to Vector....

Kitty: Vector, please stop this!
Penny: Someone is going to get hurt that way!
Vector: *furious* I DON‘T CARE!!...I’m sick and tired of this! Just everyone leave me alone!!!

He storms down the stairs as Crash crawls quickly out of his way...

Kitty: I’ve never seen Vector like this before....

Everyone was left in shock. Crash climbed back up the stairs, rubbing his bruised head.

Crash: What got into him?!

Brash emerges and everyone casts him a cold stare....

Brash: What? So everybody hates me now?? I was just trying to have some fun...
Havok: It’s not fun if it’s at someone else’s expense, Brash.
Brash: *shamefully to Crash* Hey man...I’m sorry.

*scene fades and shows Vector on the lower deck, gazing out at the ocean*

Vector: *thinking to himself* What’s gotten into me? How could I just hit my friend like that? It must be this new power source that I’ve sensed in me ever since the last tournament....could my Blue Dragon powers possibly have something to do with this?

Vector continues to stare out at the water...somehow or another, he had this strange feeling inside. He sensed a very large power source coming from somewhere nearby. It was then that his ears turned slightly at the sound of motors running and a voice shouting...

Voice: Vector!!

Vector peers over the rail to the water’s below...

(Music plays- Raah- ‘Do You Call My Name’)

The voice was that of Dynamo Phoenix who was driving alongside the ship on a waverider. Bronzer was there, trailing behind him. Vector’s eyes meet with those of his evil counterpart and now the strange feeling burned even stronger within him.

Vector: *shouting down at them* Dynamo...what are you doing here?!
Dynamo: Bronzer and I have come with orders from Dr. Andross...he wants you to meet with him immediately....
Vector: *squinting at them suspiciously* What for??
Dynamo: We can’t tell you anymore information...except that this time you aren’t allowed to bring anyone else along.
Vector: *coldly* That shouldn’t be a problem...if Andross and you two are looking for a fight I can handle all of you on my own.
Bronzer: Then we take it you accept our challenge!!
Vector: You’re on!!

Dynamo snaps his fingers as a large warp portal opens in back of him and Bronzer. They each turn and drive directly into the portal. Vector jumps from the rail and glides into the orb as the scene blurs.

*scene fades in showing Andross’s underwater hideout*

In a flash of light Dynamo and Bronzer appear, followed directly by Vector. A sinister grins spreads across Andross’s face as he approaches Vector who is in a fighting stance, staring him down.

Andross: Vector Yamazaki...long time no see. I have brought you here, not to fight but only with a proposition for you...
Vector: *angrily* And what might that be, Andross?

Andross slowly reveals the scepture from behind his back. Vector stares at the glowing black crystal and he suddenly begins to have a terrible feeling of doom inside, though he didn’t know why...

Andross: This scepture you see before you contains the Black Phoenix Crystal, an ancient power source that is the only means of conquering the Blue Dragon Powers. Now...Vector Yamazaki....you have a choice....either you join the two immortal warriors, Bronzer and Dynamo or I drain you of all your powers!

Vector’s face is full of panic at Andross’s words....

Vector: NOOO!!! I REFUSE TO JOIN YOU, ANDROSS!!!
Andross: *angrily* You’ve just made a grave mistake....

Dynamo and Bronzer both start to approach Vector and jump into their fighting stances...

Andross: Maybe you’ll think twice about this!
Vector: NEVER!!!
Bronzer: Then prepare to feel our ultimate wrath!!!

(Music plays- P.O.D- ‘Boom’)

The two warriors both begin to build up a force field of blue energy until is grows so large it surrounds each of them. Dynamo then hurls a blast of light directly at Vector who dodges it and runs in to send a side kick to Dynamo who backflips and throws another blast which hits Vector and throws him across the room.

Dynamo: Didn’t see that one coming, did you mutt face?
Vector: I’ll make you eat those words!!

The powerful dalmation leapt to his feet and charged at Dynamo, then sprung into the air, levitating over his head, performing an aerial shock attack, electricuting the evil cat. Dynamo is stunned and knocked cold on the floor. Bronzer then leaps in front of Vector, throwing him an uppercut, but Vector swiftly blocks the punch and flips Bronzer backwards and kicks him in the back of the knees, knocking him down. Vector prepares another power blast as Bronzer jumps back up. Andross, meanwhile is coming up from behind Vector...the scepture now glowing a brilliant purple-red.... Vector senses Andross coming and spins around, hurling the blast at him...but there comes a flash of blue light and then a glowing blast of red power that flings Vector backwards into a wall..... Vector lay there, stunned for a moment. Holding his head he wearily climbs to his feet. He was shocked at how weakened he suddenly felt... Andross stood before him, holding the Dark Scepture high in the air. The crystal was now glowing a dark purple, its beams emanating brightly as black mists emerged and slowly began to swirl down the scepture, encircling Andross.

Andross: Give up the fight now, Yamazaki.....
Vector: *staring Andross in the eyes* I never back down from a fight....I would think you’d know that by now.....
Andross: Yes....but do you know this?

The evil doctor extended his right arm, while grasping the scepture and thrust it towards Vector...

Andross: *bellowing loudly* MORTAL DARKNESS!!!

Black mist billowed around Andross as a bolt of purple lightning shot from the scepture... Vector begins to grow a bright, royal blue as he struggles to summon the powers of the Blue Dragon....

Vector: *wincing in pain* AAAggghhh.... can’t.....fight...this.....

The bolt strikes Vector, colliding with his forcefield as there is a thundering blast and a burst of deep violet light, followed by earsplitting shattering of glass. Dynamo and Bronzer have awakened at the sound and back away fearfully as the windows of the circular room begin to crack under the pressure. Fish dart away from the outsides of the windows as water begins to seep in.

Andross: HAAAHAAAAHAAAHAAAHAAAAAA!!!!! GOOD RIDDANCE TO YOU, VECTOR YAMAZAKI!!!

Bronzer, Dynamo and Andross all stand together as they are teleported from the hideout with a swoop of the Dark Scepture. The walls begin rumbling as part of the walls crack and shatter as the ocean waters begin pouring in. Vector is lying on the floor, clasping his chest and struggling to stand up. He suddenly senses a feeling deep inside himself....something he never felt before....

*scene zooms in on Vector’s face*

Vector: *thinking* What’s happened to me?!!

He could no longer sense his own powers, and he felt so weak that he could hardly move. The entire ground began to rumble....or was it the walls? Vector couldn’t be sure. The last thing he saw was the blue depths outside the glass walls as a deafening shatter wracked his eardrums. A blast of coldness hit him as everything flashed to darkness. Opening his eyes he found he was submerged in water, his body now pinned to the ground beneath a large, steel beam.

*scene flashes then fades in slightly blurred*

Vectors life begins to flash before his eyes....images from the past....

-He was a small child and he and his sister Tanya and brother Brimstone were all playing together.

-Then came a picture of Brimstone dangling over a cliff edge, young Vector grabbing his ankle and struggling, finally pulling him to safety.

-Vector’s 13th birthday party...right after he learned of his destiny to become a warrior and fight the evil Android empire which threatened to destroy all life on earth. He held his father’s light saber for the first time...

More scenes flash before Vector...scenes of the battles he fought and the countless times he conquered Andross...scenes of the good times he’d had with all of his family and friends....

*scene blurs then fades to blackness, and back in again*

(Music plays- David Gray- ‘The Other Side’)

Across the calm seas, the magestic cruise ship can be seen from the distance...

*camera moves in on the ship at a steady pace*

Everyone is seated together, relaxing for a change. Jessica and Havok are playing a game of checkers, Ramon, Zane, Kitty, and Charlie are standing by the rail, filming and admiring the view. Crash is sprawled in a lounge chair taking a nap, Coco is typing on her laptop, and Penny and Tanya are sunbathing alongside Brash.

(music fades)

Charlie: *to Ramon* That shark footage you got earlier was mad awesome!
Zane: What’s even cooler is the fact that Brash and Crash have finally stopped arguing...
Kitty: That’s for sure!

Ramon continues filming, aiming his camera for what appears to be a very large island in the distance.

Zane: *pointing to the island* Say, isn’t that part of New Zealand?
Ramon: The north island to be exact....

Moments later Brash approaches them and lifts his shades looking toward the north island.

Brash: The north island, eh? Looks pretty.....as in pretty boooriiinng.
Ramon: Are you kidding? New Zealand is one of the most awesome vacation spots in the world!
Brash: *rolling his eyes* Well excuse me....
Kitty: Say, Brash...have you seen Vector around?
Brash: *grinning* No, luckily I haven’t. That guy scares me sometimes... O.o
Charlie: I hope Vector’s alright....maybe I should go look for him...
Ramon: That sounds like a good idea, we’ll come with you.
Brash: *jumping all around waving his arms* No...don’t do it....not if you value your life!

Ramon, Zane, Kitty and Charlie all walk off and head down the stairs to the lower deck.

Brash: *shouting* Suit yourselves, but you’ll be sooorrryy....

Crash is suddenly awakened by Brash’s shouting...

Crash: Znnnxxzzz...YAH!!

He jumps with a start, flipping his lounge chair over. Penny, Tanya and Coco all look over at him in surprize and can’t help but laugh.

Coco: You alright, Crash?
Crash: *angrily* I was just having a dream about being in a swimming pool surrounded by hot chicks!
Brash: *snickering* Only in your dreams...

Before Crash can saying anything back, Jessica and Havok both come dashing over, out of breath...

Jessica: *worried* We just saw Dynamo aboard the ship!!
Penny: *gasp* You saw what?!
Havok: It’s true!! He’s headed this way right now!!

The entire group looks on as the humanoid cat approaches from down the opposite end of the upper deck.

Coco: I have a bad feeling about this....

They all eye him suspiciously as he approaches, bracing themselves, prepared to leap into action.

Dynamo: Greetings Yamazakis’ and friends....I’ve come with a message for all of you....

He holds out a white envelope and hands it to Havok.

Brash: *nervously* I wouldn’t open that....who knows what the nut put in there... O.o

Dynamo then exits down the stairs, leaving everyone standing there with Havok who cautiously begins to open the envelope...

Havok’s eyes widen....

Crash: *eagerly* What’s is say? What’s it say?!
Havok: It says that Dr. Andross has requested that we all meet him for a fighting tournament that will be taking place 8:00 p.m. tonight at the shipping warehouse at Port Auckland in New Zealand...
Coco: *angrily* So Andross is up to his old tricks again, after all!
Penny: *disappointed* So much for our dream vacation....
Havok: *firmly* Don’t worry you guys....if Andross wants a fight we’ll give him one! He won’t ruin the rest of our trip...I say we take him down in battle!
Brash: *saluting* Aye aye, captain!
Tanya: I think the others are looking for Vector right now....wait till we tell him the news....

*scene fades in then out*

On the lower deck of the ship, Ramon, Charlie, Zane, and Kitty are searching the small crowd of passengers for any sign of Vector.

Zane: Maybe we should split up....Ramon and I will check the port deck, Kitty and Charlie, you two check the starboard side.
Kitty: Good idea....

They split and each take separate directions. Moments later, Havok, Penny, Jessica, Crash, Coco, Tanya, and Brash emerge from the upper deck stairs.

Crash: *shouting loudly* Vector? Come out come out wherever you are!
Coco: He won’t hear you, do you realize how big this ship is?
Crash: I thought dogs have excellent hearing.
Havok: We do....so would you please stop shouting?
Crash: My bad.
Penny: Here come the others now....

The other four come dashing from opposite ends of the deck, out of breath from running.

Charlie: There was no sign of him anywhere....
Ramon: We had no luck finding him either.....
Jessica: *sadly* Now I’m really starting to worry...
Havok: *handing Ramon the note* Dynamo left this note for us saying that Andross challenges us to a fighting tournament tonight.

Ramon hastily reads through the note....

Ramon: I can’t believe this....
Kitty: *angrilly* Why must Andross always butt into everything?!
Penny: We can’t fight this battle without Vector....
Zane: But it looks like we’re going to have to.
Brash: Hah....I bet this Andross guy ain’t so tough!
Crash: That’s cause YOU never tried fighting him before!

Kitty suddenly gasps and holds her left wrist in front of her eyes...

Kitty: Why is my power bracelet suddenly glowing??
Ramon: Doesn’t that only happen when a ghost is around?
Kitty: Or if an immortal spirit is defeated.....

The group stares at eachother with fearful expressions, they all seem to realize the horrible truth at the same time.

Penny: No! It can’t be!!
Jessica: You mean that.....that....dad is..... *her eyes begin to fill with tears*
Tanya: *sadly* How could this have happened?
Havok: *gravely* I don’t know.....but I say we find out....
Coco: *holding up her laptop* I might be able to access some information that could help us.
Crash: *skeptically* What are you gonna find on a computer that could help us? -_-
Coco: *typing frantically* Plenty! Just watch!!

Everyone gathers around Coco as she points to the screen.

Coco: I looked up a website that lists information on old Aboriginal tribes and relics that still exist.
Kitty: *eyes widening* Yes....that must be it! It says right here- Thousands of years ago there was an ancient Aboriginal warrior who had knowledge of the powers of immortality. The gods granted him everlasting life through the Black Phoenix Crystal....but the warrior abused his powers by using his immortality to cause evil, and slay the Blue Dragon....a creature whom many mortals releyed on for strength and protection. The gods punished him by taking away his immortality. As a result he died in a great battle, but no one ever discovered where the warrior hid the Black Phoenix Crystal which remained protected by the gods.
Jessica: *gasp* The Blue Dragon.....those people the warrior killed must have been our ancestors.....
Kitty: *reading the screen* It says here that only when the Dark Phoenix crystal is used by an ancestor of the Blue Dragon, can it restore the life of a Blue Dragon warrior. This must happen before the sun sets on the day of the warrior’s death, or then the victims soul will cross over for all eternity...
Crash: *shuddering* Brrrrr.... this whole thing is given’ me the willies...
Brash: You have a willie??
Everyone: -_-
Ramon: We have no time to lose.... It’s already almost 5:00 p.m. and sunset is at 7:30 p.m..
Zane: That must be why Andross scheduled the tournament for 8:00!!
Tanya: Then we’ll have to confront Andross and get that crystal BEFORE sundown!!
Coco: *suddenly worried* And listen to this....it says that nothing in the universe can conquer the strength of the Black Phoenix crystal except when all four powers of the Blue Dragon, the Green Turtle, the Red Phoenix, and the White Tiger are combined! This can only take place if four warriors possesing each of the powers combine....or if a crystals of the Four Powers are used together...
Charlie: Hey!! I remember in the Future Rivals 4 tournament that Doctrine Highlander possessed the Red Phoenix Powers and somehow he managed to have Black Chaos Phoenix powers and no one knew how he got them....
Tanya: Then the only explanation is that Doctrine must have had possesion of the Black Phoenix Crystal and hid it away somewhere. He mustn’t have know everything about its powers or else how could Vector and Charlie have defeated him??
Ramon: It’s possible that he didn’t have the full powers of the crystal for some reason....in any case....we have Jessica with the Blue Dragon and Charlie with the Green Turtle...now we just need to find the White Tiger and Red Phoenix Crystals and take down Andross before sunset.....
Zane: Does it say where the crystals are kept?
Coco: It says that each crystal is has its own temple where it is kept and protected by the ancestors of each of the powers. The four temples are in Japan and in order to gain access to these crystals, permission must be granted by the guardians of the temples.
Brash: Oh, gee....sure, we’ll have plenty of time to make a trip all the way to Japan to hunt down the stinkin’ temples, get the stinkin’ crystals, and come all the way back to New Zealand with them just before dark.... ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MINDS??!!!
Crash: Yes...and for one reason....YOU’RE CONTAGEOUS!!!
Penny: Uh, hello....we could teleport there couldn’t we?
Ramon: It would be a strain on our powers....but desperate times call for desperate measures.....we have to go now....

The group joins hands as they all concentrate and blue light surrounds them...

Jessica: *gazing at the ocean, whispering* Don’t worry Dad.....I won’t let you down....

In a flash of light the team dissapears to begin their mission to find the two crystals....

(Music plays- Enya- ‘Only Time’)

*scene now shows the harbor of Port Auckland, New Zealand*

Several large ships are docked here, and crews are busy unloading dozens of barrels and wooden crate loads of cargo.

*camera moves towards the shipping warehouse in the distance and the scene fades*

Within the dim light of the warehouse, the figures of Dr. Andross and Bronzer can be seen standing in a section that had been cleared of crates, forming a large arena for the battle tournament.

Andross: Fine work, Bronzer....now all we have left to do is wait for Dynamo to return. Hopefully he has overheard some information that will be useful to us.

Moments later, there is a flash of light as Dynamo appears in the center of the arena...

Dynamo: Master Andross, Vector’s team has received the letter...
Andross: Excellent!! Did you find any information about their plans?
Dynamo: After I gave them the letter, I hide under the stairs on the lower deck of the ship to spy on them. They now know about the Black Phoenix Crystal....
Andross: CURSES!!! I was hoping that would be the ONE thing they wouldn’t discover!!!
Dynamo: That’s not all....they also found information we didn’t know existed....there are four temples in Japan which hold each crystal of The Four Powers.....
Bronzer: They won’t be able to conquer us with those....the Black Phoenix Crystal is the most powerful source in the universe!!!!
Dynamo: Yes...but it can only be matched in strength by the combination of all four powers....
Andross: If they think that they can outwit us they have another thing coming. Vector Yamazaki is DEAD at last!!!! Now....with the Black Phoenix powers in our hands, getting rid of the rest of them will be only too easy.....

*scene slowly fades and now shows a view of a vast mountain range in Japan*

In a burst of blue light, the eleven fighters appear in the lush forest at the base of the mountains....

Brash: Well that was the fast trip I’ve ever taken....
Ramon: Anyway, I think we should hurry and locate the temples as soon as possible.
Coco: Right!

She sits on the ground and begins typing quickly on her laptop...

Coco: According to my map, we are directly at the base of Mount Fuji...
Crash: COOL! The tallest mountain in the world!!
Coco: Um....actually....that would be Mount Everest.
Crash: Oh...right...I knew that.
Penny: Does it say if the temples are anywhere near here?
Coco: No...unfortunately it doesn’t, but maybe someone around here would know.
Charlie: Maybe that guy over there would know....

Charlie motions to an area just outside of the forest where a small pagoda stands. Sitting beside the small pagoda is a tall, young man dressed in traditional Samurai garb. He wore a bright blue gi with red and gold trimming, a white bandanna, dark red pants with blue and black trim and black sandals. On the sleeve of his gi was a white emblem of a crouching tiger. The group approaches the pagoda....

Havok: Excuse me sir, we were wondering if you could give us directions to the Four Temples of power?
Samurai: Yes...I know where these temples are located. My name is Renshu-Byakku and I am an ancestor and protector of the White Tiger Temple. I cannot tell strangers the way, however, without proof that they are ancestors of one of the powers. I sense that there is a tremendous power amongst you....

The Samurai looks directly at Jessica....

Samurai: I sense the powers of the Blue Dragon, if I am not mistaken.
Jessica: Yes, that’s true. My father possessed Blue Dragon powers and he has trained me in the Blue Dragon arts. But now his existence is in danger because of the Dark Phoenix Crystal which robbed him of immortality.
Renshu: It’s just as I feared...the Chaos Phoenix has once again been set free. A wolf warrior by the name of Doctrine Highlander was the first to harness the power after thousands of years. But he didn’t have the full power...he failed to realize that the Black Phoenix Crystal could only reach Mortal Darkness form after an immortal was killed using the Dark Scepture....
Penny: The Dark Scepture?
Renshu: Yes, it is an ancient relic that was used by the Aboriginal warrior thousands of years ago. The Scepture could harness the Black Phoenix powers and whomever had possesion of both the scepture and the crystal could obtain full power and transform into a demon form of the Black Phoenix.
Ramon: So that’s how Andross managed to defeat Vector....

Everyone is silent and solemn for a moment....

Renshu: Come....I will show you the way to the White Tiger Temple. It is near the summit of Mount Fujiyama....

The Samurai points in the direction of the great mountain before them...

Crash: We have to climb all the way up there?! I think my legs are hurting already.
Brash: Aw, suck it up ya big baby!
Kitty: *slapping Brash on the arm* Come on....

The group follows Renshu as they start off in the direction of the forest to begin the long climb up the mountain trail.

(Music Plays- Daniel Beddingfield- ‘Gotta Get Thru This’)

*scene shows the group from above*

They are hiking briskly, single file with a long rope tied to all of their waists. The golden orb of the sun is slowly starting to sink from it’s high position in the heavens...

*scene shows the sun as it begins to lower even more and the shadows of the forest and mountain side shift direction*

The team is now trudging along, about halfway up the steep cliffsides....

*scene shows them wearily scaling large rock ledges*

Crash is at the end of the rope looking exhausted, hanging in mid air as everyone in front of him is helping to haul the rope up.

*scene and music fade*

*camera now shows an overhead view of a forest area near the peak of the mountain and zooms in on the group who have finally reached the location of the Four Temples.*

The sun is now glowing a darker orange as it is drawing near the horizon. The team are standing together looking utterly exhausted and gasping for breath...

Brash: *to Penny* I told you we should have just teleported!!!
Penny: *angrily* We needed to conserve our powers or else we wouldn’t be able to teleport back to New Zealand!!!!
Tanya: Just everyone try to calm down...we’re here now....
Renshu: I am terribly sorry for the tiresome climb...but the gods built the temples at the summit so that no thieves could locate and rob them.
Crash: *collapsing on the ground* Never mind thieves....mere mortals can’t locate the darn place!!!
Renshu: *smiling* Except for the guardians...allow me to take you inside the White Tiger Temple...

Kitty and Coco help Crash to his feet and the group follows Renshu to a large temple towards the right. It is partially concealed the the trees. As the team makes their way through the forest clearing they all gasp in awe as a great temple carved of pure white marble comes into view. At the closed entrance loom two large statues of white tigers. Renshu walks towards the entrance and places his hand against the giant marble door and murmers words in Japanese as a white light glows from his hand. With a low rumble the door of the temple rises.

Renshu: You may now enter and I will give you the White Tiger Crystal. If you wish, you may also enter the Red Phoenix Temple to save time...it is located just past those trees in the distance... Kagami-Suzaku is the guardian of the Red Phoenix, and she can allow you access to the Red Phoenix Crystal.
Zane: Good idea, it’s nearing sunset already...thank you very much for your help, Renshu.
Renshu: *bowing slightly* My pleasure.
Ramon: Okay Zane, I’ll stay here....Jessica, Penny, Kitty, Crash and Brash can stay here with me. Coco, Havok, Charlie and Tanya can go with you to the Red Phoenix temple.
Brash: *whining* Why can’t I go?? I don’t wanna stay here with baby Crashy!!
Crash: Look who’s talking....you were complaining the whole way up here that you had a butt cramp!!!
Ramon: On second thought...Brash please just go with them....
Zane: *rolling his eyes* Hey, thanks Ray.
Ramon: *winking* Don’t mention it.
Zane: We’ll meet up with you right here after we get the crystal.... *to the group* Let’s go.....

Charlie, Havok, Coco, Brash, and Tanya all follow Zane as they make their way to the forest in the direction of the Red Phoenix Temple.

*scene fades out, then fades in showing Bronzer’s eyes up close*

Bronzer: *speaking quietly* I think I hear voices beyond those trees....

He and Dynamo are seen standing in the forest, the White Tiger Temple can be seen faintly through the trees.

Dynamo: This is the Temple....I’ll wait here while you go in to distract them....

The evil duo peer through the bushes and watch, riveted as Ramon, Jessica, Crash, Kitty, and Penny immerge from the Temple. They bow to Renshu and then begin making their way around to the other side. Penny is holding a briliantly glowing pure white crystal....

*scene shows the group up close*

Ramon: Mission accomplished! Let’s just hope the others made out alright....
Jessica: The sun is nearing the horizon.....
Ramon: Don’t worry, I think we’re going to make it...

Moments after Ramon spoke these words there came a blast of blue light from the nearby bushes and Penny is knocked to the ground. The others are already far ahead and don’t notice she has fallen behind. She turns, struggling to her feet and clasping the crystal to her chest. Standing before her is a figure, surrounded by slight mist....
Penny: *gasping in shock* Vector??!!
Vector: Yes Penny....it’s me....in my spirit form.

When he spoke these words, his voice sounded strange and slightly deeper...

Vector: Penny....I’ve come to warn you....Andross and his minions have teleported here to Japan and they are trying to prevent you from gaining the Crystals that will defeat the Black Phoenix Powers.
Penny: *frightened* What will we do?
Vector: *holding out his hand* Give me the White Tiger Crystal....
Penny: But....you won’t be able to use it....you are only in spirit form...
Vector: I will guard it for you, until you need it to fight Andross.

Penny glances at the sky, now streaked with pink and orange...

Penny: But the sun is starting to set....I need the Crystal now...

Vector suddenly reaches forward and tears the White Tiger Crystal out of Penny’s grip....

Vector: *growling in a low tone* No you don’t....this Crystal belongs to me.....

Penny begins to back away, frightened, as Vector’s body begins to glow a bright yellow aura.

Vector: You thought that I was on your side Penny? Think again....

There is a burst of yellow light as Vector’s eyes turn red and his scars begin to glow....

Penny: *horrified* YOU’RE NOT VECTOR!!!

Bronzer: *now in his normal form* You’re a smart one, aren’t you....

He hurls a blast of energy at Penny, hitting her and throwing her into a large rock, but she forward flips and counter’s Bronzer’s attack with a blast of her own energy, taking him by surprize...

Penny: *shouting* POWER WAVE!!!

She thrusts out both hands and blue energy glows around her body and waves of energy bursts forward, sweeping Bronzer off his feet. Penny then glides in and performs a flying kick to Bronzer’s head and grabs the White Tiger Crystal. Bronzer shields himself with a yellow forcefield....

Bronzer: COMET DESTROYER!!!

He then sends a massive jolt of power directly at Penny, but she teleports away from the scene and the blast hits the side of a tree.

*scene flashes*

Ramon’s group is now standing in front of the Red Phoenix temple along with Zane’s group who have retrieved the Red Phoenix Crystal.

Havok: Well....I guess that’s everyone....wait....where’s Penny?
Zane: OH NO....PENNY!!!!

Kitty: She must have fallen behind for some reason....

There is a bright flash of blue light as Penny suddenly appears, holding the White Tiger Crystal....

Jessica: PENNY!!! Thank goodness you’re here....
Tanya: What happened??
Penny: Bronzer appeared and tried stealing the Crystal from me!
Ramon: *furious* NOT HIM AGAIN!!!!
Charlie: The sun is nearly set....we have to get out of here....

Everyone quickly joins hands...Penny holds the White Tiger Crystal and Zane holds the Red Phoenix Crystal as the entire team disappears in a flash of blue light.

*scene flashes now showing New Zealand’s north island from the distance*

*camera zooms over the ocean and in on Port Auckland*

The sun is now more than half set and the skies overhead are fading to deep purple....

*scene flashes*

Andross and Dynamo are waiting within the dim light of the shipping warehouse....

Andross: *impatiently* What is taking Bronzer so long?!!
Dynamo: At this rate, the sun will set before Vector’s team has a chance to fight us.
Andross: *grinning slightly* Yes....the sun will set on the day....and on the life and reign of Vector Yamazaki.....

Everything is silent for a moment, then comes a burst of light as Bronzer appears in the arena....

Andross: * in a menacing tone* Where are the Crystals??
Bronzer: *gravely* Master Andross....forgive me....they have the Crystals.....
Andross: *in a hiss* They what?!!! *bellowing* THEEEYYY WHAAAAATTTT?!!!

There is a large burst of blue light as eleven figures appear in the center of the arena. As the light clears, the figures of Havok, Jessica, Penny, Kitty, Crash, Ramon, Zane, Coco, Tanya, Charlie, and Brash are standing there in fighting stances.

Havok: *angrily* Surprise, Andross....you’re time is through!!!!!

Bronzer and Dynamo begin approaching the center of the arena...

Dynamo: Shut your face kid......it’s not over yet!!!!

*camera zooms in rapidly on Andross’s face*

Andross: Destroy them.

(Music plays- Adema- ‘Immortal’- instrumental only)

Dynamo grasps a sphere of energy and hurls it directly at the team. Ramon leaps forward, unsheathing his sword and slashing the energy sphere. Light surges through the sword and crackles as it enters his body and he begins to glow bright green.

Ramon: REFLECTOR!!!!

He bolts forward and slashes his sword at his evil brother’s shoulder. The energy surges from the sword blasting Dynamo out of the arena and smashing through a stack of crates. Bronzer suddenly teleports behind Ramon and blasts him with a kung fu kick and fleeing snake technique...he then hits him with a bolt of energy knocking him unconscious. Zane, Jessica and Kitty leap in front of him.

Kitty: DEMON CHAOS!!!!!

She punches her arm forward as her Power Bracelet glows a burning white and a surge of blue energy flies from the Spirit Stone and swirling beams begin circling around Bronzer as his forcefield begins to weaken rapidly.

Zane: ULTIMA RAY!!!!!
Jessica: BLUE DRAGON THUNDER!!!!!

Zane hurls a beam of energy at Bronzer’s forehead, knocking him backwards as Jessica glows a bright blue and sends thundering waves of power across the floor, vaporizing Bronzer.

Brash: ALLLRIIIGGHTT!!!!
Crash: *glancing at Brash* That was my line....

Andross is furious by now and he clasps the Black Phoenix Scepture as he approaches the team....

Andross: YOU HAVE FOUGHT YOUR LAST BATTLE......

Mists begin to swirl from the dark Crystal as the entire Scepture glows dark purple and electricity begins crackling around it..... Zane hands the Red Phoenix Crystal to Penny....

Zane: Here...you should use this....you have the immortal power within you....
Penny: Thank you Zane....

Penny, in turn, hands the White Tiger Crystal to Havok....

Havok: I....I can’t use this power....I don’t know how.....
Jessica: Yes you do Havok....just feel the power inside you....have faith in yourself....

Charlie steps forward, along with Jessica, Penny, and Havok...

Tanya: Look out.....a portal is starting to open!!!

Above Andross's head, a large dark warp portal crackles with energy and continues to grow larger and larger...everyone gasps in abject horror at the image of the Black Phoenix, it’s wings spread as it rises from the purple fire within the orb...

Andross: The time has come for the sun to set on all of you....and to rise with the Android Empire....

Jessica and Charlie gather together and place their fists together as a beam of bright blue light, and a ray of jungle green shoot towards the sky. The images of the Blue Dragon and the Green Turtle are formed in the light....

*scene now shows the sun sinking down below the horizon....only a mere slit of crimson is all that remains in a single point of dying light*

(music plays louder)

Penny grasps the Red Phoenix Crystal and places it against Jessica and Charlie’s hands and there is a burst of fiery red light and a humming sound.

*scene zooms in on Havok’s face*

Jessica’s words echo through his mind..... 'have faith in yourself'... Havok grasps the White Tiger Crystal tightly and moves it towards the other’s hands...

*scene now shows the slimmer or crimson sunlight dissapear on the horizon and everthing is black*

*scene flashes*

There is a burst of pure white light as the outline of the White Tiger appears alongside the turtle, dragon, and phoenix....

Andross: NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!The entire ground rumbles as the shadow of the Black Phoenix dissapears into violet flames. The blue, green, white, and red light swirl and blend together colliding with the black portal. There is an earthshattering thunder and a blast of black and purple light as Andross, Bronzer, and Dynamo are pulled into the orb and the scene explodes into blackness.

*scene slowly fades in*

There are slight rustling sounds as the group of eleven, silouetted figures stir from the floor of the dark warehouse where they are laying, huddled together. Only faint light from the distant harbor shines through the small windows....

Charlie: *in a slight whisper* We did it.....
Crash: *confused* We did??
Brash: *in a quiet tone* Of course we did, numbskull....
Crash: *whispering* Why is everyone whispering?
Ramon: *in a normal tone* We defeated Andross and his minions at their own game....
Tanya: *worried* But what happened to Vector??

Everyone stands and gazes around the dark warehouse. For a moment, all that can be heard is their heavy breathing....

Kitty: *gasp* Look....

She holds out her wrist and her power bracelet in seen glowing brilliantly. Mist slowly begins to form a circle on the floor in front of them and there is a faint blue glow. The team watches, wide-eyed and speechless. The mists begin to glow and then rapidly take the form of a humanoid dog. The form glows brighter then there is a small burst of whitish- blue light and as the light fades, Vector Yamazaki is lying there, glowing slightly with blue power. His eyes open as the glow fades and he takes a deep breath and slowly lifts his head, sitting up....

Jessica: *in a quiet tone* Dad??

Her eyes fill with joy as she dashes over to him....

Jessica: DAD!!!!

She embraces him tightly, burying her face in his arm as he slowly wraps his arms around her... Penny, Tanya, and Havok all rush over and hug him tightly, half laughing and half crying with joy.

Penny: Thank heavens!!!

Vector embraces each of them. For a moment he is silent....

Vector: I....I....don’t know how....to put into words how grateful I am.....

He gazes at all of his friends and family gathered around....

*scene slowly moves in on Vector’s face as he speaks*

Vector: I realize.....for the longest time.....I wasn’t thinking about anyone but myself. There were times I was selfish.....and I hurt the feelings of those who cared the most for me. When I was dying.......I saw my life pass before my eyes.....and all I could think was how terrible it would be....to never see those I love again.....

*there is silence as everyone watches Vector*

Vector: *in a whisper* I’m sorry.....

He turns away and Penny walks over to him and places a hand on his shoulder....

Penny: We forgive you, Vector....and I will always love you no matter what....

*scene fades as Vector and Penny embrace eachother, then it slowly fades in*

The sea is calm and peaceful and a gentle breeze rustles the palm trees as the view of the morning sunrise can be seen through the leaves. In the distance, the magestic cruise ship sails westward.

*camera moves in at a steady pace and glides on the upper deck of the ship*

(Music plays- Dirty Vegas- ‘Days Go By’ instrumental intro only)

Standing at the rail and gazing out to sea at the distant coast of New Zealand, are twelve figures.

Ramon: Well, goodbye New Zealand.....
Zane: At least we still have another two days to enjoy the cruise back to Australia.
Penny: *smiling happily* So we really can have our dream vacation!
Brash: *grinning* That’s right....it all goes to prove that you can have your cake and eat it too....RIGHT CRASH??
Crash: *slightly sick at the thought* Don’t menyion another word about cake....x_x

Everyone laughs and Crash can’t help but smirk too....

Vector: Well.... last night I teleported to Japan and returned the Crystals to their rightful guardians. I met Renshu-Byakku and he said that after the Black Phoenix Powers were defeated....the Dark Scepture and Black Crystal....according to legend....have now become rightful property of the gods once again.
Havok: That’s a good thing to know!
Coco: *glancing towards the horizon* But what do you suppose ever happened to Andross and his minions??
Penny: I don’t know....but I have a feeling that they are still out there somewhere.....
Vector: Yes...but let’s not worry about that for now.....afterall....we’re here to have fun right??
Everyone: YEAH!!!!!

(music plays louder)

Brash: *loudly* I know....let’s play some games....we could play pin the tail on the loser!!!! *he points to Crash*
Crash: *pointing to Brash* Not before we play whack the numbat!!!!
Kitty: *rolling her eyes* Here we go again.....

*scene shows the ship sailing from the distance*

(music switches to Adema- ‘Immortal’ and the scene slowly fades)
