Memories...

This page is devoted to Dream Come True, my fabulous Thoroughbred mare who sadley passed away in April, 2002. She was 15.3hh, and was a gentle soul. She was a good reliable competitive partener, and ended her career with 36 points. She never showed much, for I had no time for her after I brought her to CSR from GEC, after it shut down. She quickly became my first thoroughbred broodmare. She was a great mare, and was a loving mother, who produced some nice foals, who did go on to be champions. She was a fabulous mother. She spent her days after being retired from the brood in the fields with the youngsters, who helped keep her spry and also learnt much from her mothering. Then, she got to relax and partake in the odd trail ride, and just hang out with Sky and the other retired mares. She definetly earned her place in my heart. After her surgury for a cancerous tumor, we were even closer. She died of old age, happily in her stall, at age 25. She will remain in our hearts at CSR for years to come. Here are some pictures from her memory book. Please check out the next page of Deep River's Memory album here: Album

Jumping

Here is Dream in her second event. She is only 8 years old here, and in her prime. She was always a very careful and respectful jumper!

Being Lovely

Here she is just posing for a picture. I love this one because it just shows her off well... you can see the sweetness in her eyes. She just loved to please. What an angel mare.
