Allegro - Legacy of a Champion

Allegro was a stallion of my heart... He was one of my first horses at CSR, he was side by side with Sky. He was a percheron/TB cross, and an incredible jumper. He always tried, always wanting to please. He had the incredible thoroughbred heart, and the power and sense of a percheron. He was a solid but graceful horse. He sired 3 foals from CSR, and I kick myself often for selling them. He was a trusty steed, and a faithful friend. He was retired at 18 years old, because he was starting to get a little stiff and old from all his eventing. He was here before points were 1500 for first place... he really earned his points. He retired with 300 of them... an incredible sum in the early days of SIM. Allegro died in June of 2002. He is a horse to remember, and I am thankful for all our photos....

A Handsome Stallion

This is the picture I used for all his stud ads. He had lovely conformation, and loved to pose for pictures. He is 8 years old in this photo.

Dressage

Here is Allegro performing for a crowd, which was what he loved best! He had the greatest movement... it took a lot of work to perfect it, but it was worth it!
