Sky Everlasting

Sky was probably my favourite mare here. She was my first mare, a dutch warmblood. She was always quiet and patient, very calm, but always spirited. She was the first horse I trained... She recieved 250 points from her showing days (nowadays, that is like placeing 3rd once! ha ha!) but she did really well, and evented up to prelim. She was a great eventer, full of heart. I decided to retire her after I got further into breeding, as I didn't have enough time for her. Then she became a broodmare. She produced some stellar foals, such as Sky's Legacy, who I'll never sell, and Sky's Final Saluut... she has had many many foals, but those are the only two I have directly from her. She was also a grandmother now, in fact, a great grandmother! Her first great grandson, Noble Rebellion was just born before she died. He was sired by Noble Legend, who was sired by Sky's Legacy. Sky paired very well with Legatto, a Dutch stud that is currently residing in the retired barn. She was a great mare who I miss terribly.
