More Retired Horses of DR

Here are the studdies and a mare that just retired...

Elegant Flair

Flair is an extremly well known stallion in the world of SIM. When someone mentions his name, or sees it in a pedigree, it instantly reads "Champion". Flair has earned 10,106 points in his career. He is a perfect example of all that a stallion should be. Elegance, Grace, Power, Willingness, and Courage. Flair will always be way up there on my favourites list, as I have had him since he was just a yearling. He is 25 years old now. We have bonded greatly between then and now. He was such a wonderful stallion, he will be greatly missed in the stallions barn, and I will certainly miss the thrill of riding him competitively. He always has a certain edge when in the show ring, even if he is a little lazy in the schooling ring. I really hate to retire him, but I know he definetly deserves it. He competed up to the Preliminary level, always placing in the high ribbons. I used this picture for him for a long time because it really shows his charecter and zest for life.

Legatto

Legatto is a Dutch Warmblood stallion, of 24 years old. He is still a very handsome guy, who loves to do some light dressage occaisionally. He was always a kind stud to be around, and was a wonderful match for Sky, producing some really nice babies with her. She only had 2 foals that were not sired by him. He is a gentleman, and stood tall at 16.2 hh. He earned himself a grand total of 1769 points in his life, making him a champion in my eyes, considering he didn't get shown half as much as he should have! He will retire happily after a career in eventing, showing, and especially dressage.

Legatto

I haven't had Indy as long as I have had these other guys for, but in the several years I have had her, I really grew to love her. She is a 16hh, 25 year old Dutch Warmblood. She never got to compete, sadley, as she wound up with a seriously broken coffin bone, which then resulted in other complications... to make a long story short, she would never be able to jump or even compete in dressage again. She would have been alright as a very limited pleasure horse, but, with her fantastic bloodlines and thrilling conformation, I decided to buy and breed her. She is a lovely horse, and I am so glad of my purchase, because she has raised some really awesome foals! I love her dearly, and she will definetly be here until she dies.
