<IMPHL> was originally
founded by Reirae in SWG on the Starsider server. The guild was
going to be based from Tatooine but it was eventually decided
that it woule be moved to Naboo, near another Imperial guild and
their bases. During this time we held an event known as the
Friday Night Hunt which has been used off and on for quite some
time. Plans had been made to build a player city with our
neighboring guild but it was not meant to be. The other guild's
bases were destroyed and they abandoned the area. We were alone
out there but we decided to stay, build a city, and work our way
up.
Time went by rather
quickly and people came and went. We finally got our player city
shortly after we missed our first shot at it. Hunter's Legion
Outpost grew rather quickly through the first few levels and we
did alot of expanding. We also had another Imperial guild that
came to town to join us, <OMEN>.
This was the beginning
of <IMPHL>'s first golden age. We began to put up bases and
turrets. By the time we had everything set up we had 4 bases and
around 15 turrets. It was a great time to be in HL Outpost.
Unfortunately, it ended all too soon. Rebels destroyed all of
the turrets but the bases survived intact. It didn't matter
though, the owners abandoned them and took down before the guild
could react to this. The entire first golden age, sadly only one
paragraph long.
After that the guild
did very little to rebuild all that and just focused on the city
and a few other small things. Though even in the city we were
doomed for even more letdowns. We lost our chances at getting a
shuttle port and we knew the town would never have that big
source of income from travel fees. The city couldn't maintain
itself and we were forced to ask for donations and rely heavily
on Ipa.
Eventually, as things
dragged on <OMEN>'s leader disappeared and their guildhall
vanished. They were gone... It didn't take us long to decide to
move to talus were there was still a chance to get a shuttle and
build a massive city.
Our new home, Corinth,
grew quite rapidly. We build a new Imperial base and the Rebels
in the town build a Rebel base. We could faction farm and so
could they. Soon after that we managed to get a shuttle. And
that is were <IMPHL> stands today. We have a good home, we're
attempting to break into more than one game, and in my opinion
we're looking at the beginning of the second golden age of <IMPHL>
<IMPHL> Forever!
