The biggest noob of all If you've been to the GMC creations forum lately you will probably see the name MrKubus, or as he used to be called, Sparl. As of now he has 3 games on the first page alone. You would think he makes good games and they stay popular for a while right? Well guess again. It all started when I saw Drink Tea or Die 3 times on the forum. 2 of these games were fan games, one was the original by MrKubus. I decided to check out what made 2 other people make a fan game so I downloaded MrKubus' game. At first I saw 2 poorly drawn sprites sitting at a table with cups of tea in front of each of them. I thought to myself, what the hell is this game about? So I played the game. 'Playing' the game consisted of hitting space until you drank all your tea. The object of the game was to drink your tea faster than the opponent. Not that this was difficult since the ai drank tea once every 10 seconds. After laughing at this horrible game for a few minutes I went to post about how crappy his game was. I read the topic and saw that people actually liked it. How could people actually like this game? I could make a better game in 5 minutes! If you dont believe me heres some quotes from the topic. "Awesome! My heart was pounding. This was trully a difficult game. The adrenaline was truly pumping as I was gulping the tea. I'll be damned if I take longer than him to drink tea. 10/10 " "WHOOO 10/10 ROCKED!!! " "woo best game i've ever played" And the posts just kept coming. At this point I was pissed off that people could be this retarded and actually like this game. So I decied to respond in the only way I know. Flaming the hell out of everyone. Of course my friends joined me in this, it wouldnt be the same without them. Some of my posts, as well as many others', were removed. This is all that I could find. Me-"Wow, you certainly make alot of games. Too bad none of them will ever be good." Shadow Yoshi-"-pi/infinity" After all this critisim the best MrKubus can say is "Thanks". If you respond to people hating your game by saying "Thanks", you're a moron. After this flame war I had to go out. After I returned Shadow Yoshi said there was another. Much of it was the same as the first. MrKubus' stupid followers and the sane people. I saw that MrKubus had another topic on the first page, this one was called "Completely Wasted Driver". I wanted to see if MrKubus learned something or it was another stupid game of his. Guess which it was. The game made you pick between assorted drugs and alchohols to get wasted and then throw you in a car and run people over. If you know me you know I like senseless violence and any noob cad do it fairly well. But not MrKubus. The car didnt move, it used the same sprites as Drink Tea or Die, and was equally retarded. Me-"Why do you insist on making horrible games? NOTHING you make is good. Yes I did try the game, I saw the drug/alchohol list and saw decent graphics and thought, could this be a good game? Then I got to the game. Wow. This game is a travesty as well as your other games. They disgrace the great program you made it with. I hope youre happy with ruining the reputation of Game Maker. He has not replied to those current posts, though I suspect he will come back with something stupid like "Thanks" or "I tried my best". Can you believe this fool says hes been making games for 4 years? My friend that just started with Game Maker has made better games than him. A brain dead chimp could make better games than him. This is my warning to everyone. Stay away from MrKubus' games and fan games. They ruin the already little reputation Game Maker has and he disgraces us game makers. Oh and if you already like any of his games, get the hell off my site. Thank you for reading.
