Symbolism was a great facor in my painting, its title is easily represented in the paint. I am Vegan, and killing animals is someting i feel strongly against. In the painting i tried hard not to make my believes a command, but to turn them into a pursuading statement. Blood and prepaid fish reflect my Vegan believes. Whereas the green hand and the ants represent how i am convinced humans should be herbivores, and that natural selection and decay of the dead should take place without the help of humans. I have been told my painting is gruesome, and that noone wants to see such a harsh message, but reality is just as harsh.
