Examination of the... "we are the architects of desire" (Forge Again Records)

Here is yet another bitter, angry, pissed off band. Man, what are all these bands so angry about these days any way? I don't know. All I know is when I crank this CD far passed what I'm supposed to and pull into the parking lot of 711, the little homie girlies there getting there rap blasted out give me a strange look. Imagine the scene- two girls, cars next to each other, pumping out the new Puff Daddy or whatever shit. Then I pull up, blaring this through my speakers. Oh the sight alone is worth it.
In case you weren't aware, Examination of the... is a cross between Converge and Love Lost But Not Forgotten, to put it in simplest terms. They start with a song called "An ocean of lust", which is more of an intro than a song, and I usually find myself skipping over it. But right after that it hits you. I particularly enjoy the song "The feeling is always/never".
There are a lot of bands that you could say "Oh that part of that song sounds like...", but there are few actual bands that sound- on a whole- like Examination of the... , and I think that's a bad thing. We definitely need more bands that sound like these guys. Seriously, more of this, less Hatebreed rip offs.
