Closing Time.
Yes folks, the headline reads right. After 2 years, The SimCentre is closing
it's doors for the last time.
It's been an interesting 2 years, full of good times, and not-so-good times,
but I loved it all and would do it all over again if I could.
So I guess I owe you all an explaination as to why I'm shutting down. Many
of you have noticed I hardly update this site anymore, as I'm just too busy
to continue to maintain this site. Another reason is that I feel that my time
has come to move on to bigger things. I'm 22 years old, I'm done school, now
it's time I start taking responsability for my life. Also, I simply don't
have the extra finances to afford a site that I never update anymore, and
I will not make people pay real money for simple bitmap files, it would be
unfair to everyone who supported this site over the last 2 years.
I'll add something new to this page now and then, keep you all updated on what's going on in my life, and those of you in the Toronto area, I'll be posting dates of shows my band will be playing (if I remember that is, which could be a difficulty all in it's own).
So folks, that's it, and I want to thank every
one of you who have made this site what it was. The SimCentre was never one
of the big name sites, I was never one of the top sites, or a spotlight...
heck I couldn't even get onto the fan site list on the official Sims website,
but none of that matters, because there were many of you who made it all worth
the efforts. So it is for this I thank you people, you guys made my day many
times, whether it be with a supportive Email, or just simply saying that you
liked what I had to offer. So folks, I raise my glass to you, you were just
as big a part of this site as I was.
So I would like to say in closing, it was an honour to make outfits for your
Sims for the last 2 years, and you haven't seen the end of me, when I get
my dream job at EA, you'll be seeing my work, I gaurantee it.
So thank you everyone, and God bless you all.
