this annoyance rant is primarily for the eyes of one person: j the canuck boy. other people can read it for their own amusement, but they just might not understand it. i'm not going to do a bunch of background info either, because this is for j's eyes, just to convince him how utterly annoying he's being! proceed....


i have been talking to j the canuck boy for about three years. he's become a good internet friend of mine. now, i don't know if he's got horrid internet connection or what, but he does this thing online where he signs on, then is offline two seconds later. about five seconds later, he will be back on, and then off again, and so on. this will usually go on for half an hour to an hour. now, if he had aol it would not be nearly as bad because it'd just be his screen name on my buddy list going on and off. but no. he has msn, and hence an msn messanger. msn messanger lets you know when one of your online friend people signs on. a very noticable little box will appear on the corner of the screen. and will stay for several seconds. given that j is off and on before the box fully goes away (because it will slide down until gone), the box will start to go down, and then he will get online again and then the box will come back up. over and over this will happen. i cannot even use words to express how much this aggrivates me. my reaction after about 20 minutes of this incessant signing on and off is usually just me banging my head against the nearest wall.

i have this to say to you, j.... IF YOU DON'T STOP DOING THAT, I'M COMING TO CANADA, FINDING YOU, AND THEN TYING YOU TO A CHAIR FAR, FAR, AWAY FROM YOUR COMPUTER!! have a nice day.
