Ollieing
down stairs is easy once you know that your basic ollie. Start with two or
three steps, and work your way up to the big leagues. First, locate your stairs.
Then estimate the distace you need to ollie. Longer stairs means more speed.
It's the oposite for short distances. Pop your ollie exactly at the end of
the stairs. To avoid bailing, you want to keep your weight centered and board
straight. Aim to land away from the last step. It's no fun to wipe out because
your trucks slammed. Like any
trick, bend your legs and absorb the impact. Keep your weight centered. Now
ride away. Finally, since you did this so easily, go and find some bigger
