This is a terrific craft to do with kids or when you are feeling creative. This is a soft, pliable dough you can paint or decorate however you wish.
Here's the recipe:
In a non-stick or old pot, heat all ingredients over medium low heat until thick.
Let cool, then shape into altar pentacles, candle holders, etc. Whatever your hearts desire. Great Yule gifts or tree decorations.
Bake each finished piece in the oven at the lowest heat for 3-9 hours depending on its size until it is hard.
Have fun!!
This is a great craft to make for yourself or someone who is having sleep problems, such as insomnia, menopause, or for anyone who you wish to have a good night's sleep. They relieve pain from headaches as well with their comfort and healing aromatherapy qualities.
Materials:
Directions:
1. Cut your fabric into two pieces, one for the top of the pillow and the other for the bottom.
2. Sew the pieces together with the wrong side of the fabric on the outsides.
3. Sew 3 sides together then turn inside out so the right side is now showing.
4. Fill the mesh bag with the mixture of dried herbs and flowers, orris root, and a few drops of the essential oils, tie off with a string or sew together.
5. Place inside your pillow form and fill with pillow stuffing. Don't overpack as it needs air circulation to release some of the scents.
6. Finish pillow off by adding velcro to the open end of the pillow, this will allow you to access and change the herbs and flowers when needed, or to wash the pillow itself.
The pillow should be small and flat when finished, so it can be inserted into a regular pillow to enjoy for a great night's sleep!!
